What I particularly like about German food is that they have stricter food (pesticide) and dairy/meat (less hormone) laws than the US, and many products have similar preservatives, additives, dyes, etc. are not. The rest of these famous dishes in Germany are easily found in all parts of the country, not just Bavaria. All kinds of restaurants, from upscale restaurants to street carts, serve this traditional German cuisine.

BIANCHET TOURBILLON B1.618 OPENWORK
Introduction Back in 2017, Rodolfo Festa Bianchet and his wife Emmanuelle took the bold and courageous step to launch their own watch brand. Emmanuelle was a respected artist and sculptor, whilst Rodolfo had built a successful career in the world of Fintech. However, neither individual had any knowledge of running a watch brand. It is often used to describe how the character of a formerly poor urban area has changed with the influx of wealthier individuals. Effectively, neighbourhoods become more desirable courtesy of improved housing and new businesses moving to the area. Sadly, this leads to many of the existing inhabitants being ‘priced out’ and displaced as a result.

PARMIGIANI FLEURIER – WHERE EXCEPTIONAL IS THE NORM
Introduction – Michel Parmigiani Le Chapeau de Napoléon, a former lookout point, sits atop a mountain, positioned approximately 1000 metres above sea level. From this vantage point, the observer is indulged with remarkable views of France as well as Fleurier and vast swathes of the Val-de-Travers region. This latter area is very familiar to Michel Parmigiani, a master watchmaker and restorer.

CARL F. BUCHERER MANERO FLYBACK SIGNATURE
I am proud to be from Lancashire, a region where it frequently rains and the cuisine is simple but hearty. It may not be glamorous, but it is home and there is nowhere else I would prefer to be. However, there is another place that is also very close to my heart. In my professional role, I have visited Switzerland numerous times. At one stage, I even contemplated purchasing a modest home in this land of cheese, chocolate and, of course, watches.
