controversies
It seems every time one racially-charged incident ends, a gender or religious controversy takes its place; Ruminate on the issues dividing our nation and world.
How Democrats Are Slowly Winning Over Red States
The GOP's attempt to pass extremely controversial healthcare bills hasn't gone unnoticed by their constituents - especially those who would lose healthcare as a result of the issue. Republican representatives are now getting so many protests, shamers, and phone calls that they're refusing to hold town halls.

Poor Legislation and the Lack of Accountability
Before the Scottish Parliament election in 2016, while watching Holyrood, I had come to the conclusion that the SNP had to either lose their majority or their members needed to be less apathetic and hold them accountable. This was to insure that legislation passed by the Scottish Government was not bulldozed through the parliament again. It had been noted by the former presiding officer Tricia Marwick that the Scottish parliament was rather pitiful at holding the Scottish government accountable and this is the only way legislation is scrutinised by Scotland's devolved administration. Losing their majority would insure that Scottish government would be more accountable, or so I thought.

Deception and Desperate Measures
Today, there are very few people who truly understand the gravity of how serious the global economy really is. The dangers lurking behind cloaks of deception by the media and the power elite remain hidden from the general public. Millions the world over remain transfixed in hopeless desperation. Those that have said desperate times mean desperate measures are due maybe right after all. But, as so often in the past those desperate measures have only exasperated desperate times. As we continue to see, it has always been those behind the media that have always orchestrated a diversion and even a distortion away from certain elements, facts, and news. This diversion by the media is purposely directed to turn national attention away from other news. News that has far greater implications for the general public than what is actually being given the most attention by the press has made it almost impossible now to prevent further financial and economic decay not only here in the United states but around the globe.

Remind me never to get into crafting outside of my home. Or maybe just don't do anything? I recently came across an article where a Colgate University student was under suspicion of having a firearm when in reality he had a glue gun. Yes ladies and gents, a glue gun. Now to add to the ever growing list of what black people or hell even brown people can't do. So now we can't do arts and craft.

The Biggest Laughing Stock in New Mexico
In late March, Santa Fe University of Art and Design sent an email to its thriving community announcing that the for profit institution is to shut down after 2018. Students went insane and instructors tried to remain calm but broke down in silence. Ever since the dreadful email was sent out, the school has offered very little assistance to the students unfortunate enough to be attending this university and is handling the overall situation very poorly. In this article, I am going to be jumping around to try to explain a very, very, very, very, complicated situation.

Unethical Things Politicians are Doing to Keep Their Voters Supporting Them
A wise man once said that politicians need to be replaced as often as diapers - and the average voter might agree to that statement. However, it's hard to explain why congressmen still get voted in despite the approval rating of congress as a whole being at an all time low.

Bullies in the Government
The East Bully wants to control our spirit. They may be leaders of cults that dominate people and require no communication with non-members, or they may be dictators who force us to abandon our Sacred Dream, the plan our soul made for this life, in order to serve them or adhere to their standards.

The Magnificent Seven or Magnificent Minorities?
Growing up in the seventies and eighties, I remember movies always typically had a majority white cast of characters with maybe one or two minorities and typically the hero of the film. It was typical and predictable for horror films and action movies to almost always have an African American sidekick or hero make it to the end of the movie and killed off in the last 15 or 20 minutes. Gradually movies and television have gone away from that somewhat with African American, Hispanic and Asian lead characters which lead to creating fresh storytelling and new themes with not as predictable plots as in the past.

A Dystopian World
There are those who believe judgement day is close at hand. An Apocalyptic event so catastrophic that will thrust mankind either back into the Dark Ages or into the caves of the Neanderthal. With the winds of war hollowing across the Middle East where the plight of millions fleeing the stench of war has disrupted the flow of humanity sends a clear message that those who believe just may be right after all. The epic misery, hopelessness and woe are now the bedfellows of much of humanity. The life and death struggle so many face day to day is the brutal reality of the 21st century.
