corruption
A prime locale to talk bribery, suspect campaign funding, and all other instances of political corruption. The shadier, the better.
Dear America...
Dear America, My name is Johnny Reed, a freelance Journalist from a city called Leeds in the UK, somewhere that geographically seems a million miles away from El Paso in Texas. Yet for some reason, today I can’t help but feel close to the Texan community in a way I never thought I would.

Depression, Addiction, and Crime
(VLOG at bottom for those who prefer to watch and listen rather than read). Perhaps, I am biased, being someone who has himself suffered and defeated years of both addiction and depression. But, when I see things like addiction, depression, suicidal thoughts, or even crime, I see the statement of a soul that is crying out that it needs something that it isn't getting. I see a soul that feels trapped within the series of unfortunate events that are its life, and the pain, anger, and resentment these events harbor. I see a soul that hasn't had a positive mentor to teach them to think constructively and deductively; or had the ability to be educated fairly; or had the positive environments that breed confidence and promote seeking self-discovery, self-betterment, and self-growth; or had the connections and assets necessary to pursue their passions and their dreams. And it certainly doesn't make that soul "weak" to have to succumb to the weight of a deeply lost and misguided world quite clearly owned and operated by Darkness—despite, this "tough-guy" society we've created, attempting to paint such an ignorant picture; one that deflects all blame away from the true root of the problem, and places it onto the lost and suffering soul for the actions that were only ever manifested because of the pains that haunt their past.

Living In Venezuela Today Has A Very High Psychological Cost
The Venezuelan crisis is economic, political, and also emotional. The exodus of hundreds of thousands of compatriots fleeing from hyperinflation, scarcity, violence, and misery fractures families and breaks the national soul. As a consequence, a new division is created in this republic already divided into a thousand pieces: those who stay and those who leave.

British Government Is Failing to Govern
British government is failing to govern. July 2019 GET OUT OF EU AND GET ON WITH GOVERNING BRITAIN. The sooner we get a government working on domestic issues, the better, so much sheer stupidity needs sorting, the bureaucrats have had a wonderful free time with all political attention and energy focused on leaving the EU. As a result, the government and the nation urgently needs to make changes, I am sure many things can be listed, but here are a couple.

Censorship and Alternative Media
Censorship and Alternative Media: How harsher regulations inspire resistance Introduction “According to Freedom House (2015), about 86% of the world’s population resides in partially or fully censored mass media environments, making citizen political communication in censored media systems the global norm” (Behrouzian, Nisbet, Dal, & Çarkoğlu, 2016, p. 1). A great deal of communication research focuses on relatively open environments; therefore, it is important to find out how motivated resistance and alternate communication methods allow new ideas to enter societies experiencing restrictions. Journalists are often subjected to sanctions, intimidation, and other forms of punishment by governments around the world. However, in the eyes of viewers, perception of availability is more important than the supply or institutional views on said media content. It is important to study the effects of censorship and the alternatives for motivated citizens (Nisbet & Stoycheff, 2013). A study titled “Resisting Censorship: How Citizens Navigate Closed Media Environments,” summarized in this assignment, explored how individuals reacted to media censorship. This area of study is relevant given big tech’s recent crackdown on various alternative media pundits in the U.S.A. It may be wise for citizens in the west to prepare themselves for navigating a restricted system.

The Venezuela Crisis
So what's going on? Venezuela has been going down a dangerous path for years. The problems began with political discontent and corrupt officials, leading to extreme hyperinflation and shortages of food and medicine. When Maduro, the current President, was in his first term of office, his leadership sent the economy into a freefall and many citizens place the blame on his socialist government. He was widely disliked, therefore when he was re-elected into a second term in May of 2018, everyone was suspicious.

Never-Ending Story of Corruption in Ukraine
Corruption had been a widespread and growing problem in Ukraine, way before the collapse of the USSR, when Soviet nature was present and country’s leaders used to be integrated in communist ruling elite. After the disintegration of the USSR in 1991, current Ukrainian politicians established an authoritarian-oligarchic governance regime in Ukraine. Sadly, according to Corruption Perception Index 2017, Ukraine is the sixth most corrupt country in Europe and 130th in the world.

Assassination, Deceit, and Deception
What does the United States stand for today? The ideals that America was founded on were never before combined ... Liberty, justice, education, and morality these four basic principles were the basis that our democracy was founded on. But, in 1871 our core principles were basically stripped away by treasonous acts by our very own Congress. There have been many scholars who question the validity of what the Act of 1871 did to the United States. Yet, there is undeniable truth that the Act of 1871 was a direct result of the money changers influence on Congress to deceive the American public. Too many of us ever since 1871 haven't realized that our own government has been a Corporation created by the Act of 1871. Reference to Art. 1, 8, cl. 17. firmly stipulates that the government of the United States turned into a Corporation where citizens rights became privileges. This act turned a nation of sovereign individuals into a nation of servitude. One has to wonder why the American public have been deceived and oblivious to what our own government has done and continues to do to the American public.

Do People Realize We Are in Charge?
We have come to live in a world where we are beholden to the government. It should not be this way, the government should be beholden to us, but we have seriously lost our way in this country. Our leadership has become used to living off the people and expecting it. The problem with this is they have become accustomed to living the high life and never having to be held accountable for anything. Capital Hill comes and goes with their everyday lives and we are oblivious to the fact that is ruining the chances we have to ever have equality among the classes in this country.

Grand Theft Government
In my experience as a management consultant and professor, I have found that there really are three types of executives. Whether in the private or public sectors—and in the largest and smallest of organizations—the people who manage people really are of three basic mindsets when it comes to being in charge—and responsible for—the actions of others.
