Past politicians, legislation and political movements have changed the course of history in ways both big and small. Welcome to our blast to the past.
The Confederate Flag: Hated or Misunderstood
The confederate flag today is often viewed as a symbol of racism and hate associated with slavery and hate groups such as the Ku Klux Klan and white power skinheads. But what a person chooses to believe in as a symbol does not reflect what another might believe. An argument could be made that the issue is not about the symbol of the flag itself but what it has been used for and how it has changed people’s perception of it. The flag has an interesting religious background. (Coski)

Life After Europe. What's Next for the UK?
It takes a while to adjust to a new reality. The vote by the UK electorate to leave the EU has resulted in a total paradigm shift. The people of Great Britain now envisage a future for themselves where they will take a path separate to the European collective of countries.

The Ultimate Conspiracy
Through-out the ages there have been catastrophic plagues, pandemics, and diseases that have decimated whole populations. Going back to the Middle Ages the scourge of mankind was the Black Death, the Bubonic Plague that ravished Europe wiping out more than two thirds of the population, killing untold millions. In the 20th century there was the Spanish Influenza pandemic right before the end of World War I that again killed millions world wide. We would be wise to remember that the Nazi's from 1939-1945 carried out the most ruthless genocide on mankind in the 20th century. An ethnic extermination unprecedented in modern times. In 2009 the Swine Flu pandemic is just the latest occurrence that signals that the threat of another pandemic is as real as it gets. And yet, there are those who today hide behind cloaks of deception willfully aware of their diabolical intentions that cannot wait for another pandemic to strike. Now, to uncover a more sinister plot more deceitful but just as ruthless as the Nazi's all in the name of global population control. So sinister, so deceptive that we the unsuspecting population have been oblivious to the greatest conspiracy of them all.

Winds Of War
Once our earth was filled with green fields that were kissed by the sun. Once there were blue skies filled with white clouds gently floating high above. Once there were valleys where fresh clean water used to run. Now, those green fields are gone, parched by the scorching sun. Gone are the valleys where the clear waters used to run. Gone are the hopes of mankind who let their dreams depart. Gone are those blue skies now clouded over by storm clouds and winds of war. Today, the powder keg of tension in nations has placed mankind precariously close to falling back into the abyss of caves.

The Panama Papers
Ever since the Panama Papers came out, too many of us were naive about the extent and scope of how much wealth is actually being hidden away in tax havens and off shore accounts all around the globe. Sure, we accept the fact that the wealth of certain individuals have always been socked away from the prying eyes of government. That's one of the reasons why the wealthy keep getting wealthier. But, this latest report just shows the ridiculously obscene amount of wealth many leaders of government and industry have hidden away using their positions to amass great fortunes while the rest of the world languishes in desperation hoping and praying for better times ahead.

Did North Korea Flinch?
I genuinely love South Korea. I was stationed there in 1999 to 2000. My wife is Korean, and I traveled everywhere I could in the nation. While my base was far from the DMZ, Seoul-the South’s capital city, was within artillery range of the DPRK’s (The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, i.e. North Korea) guns. Whenever I traveled to Seoul I couldn’t help thinking this beautiful city with all its 20 million inhabitants could be cast into oblivion at any moment. For the South Korean people, this was just a fact of life. But for me, an American, that thought made me very uncomfortable.

The Shadow Masters
As the world continues to spin out of control there are explicit warning signs pointing to the greatest financial and economic collapse in history. Yet, there remains no mention of this impending disaster of epic proportions by our President, our elected officials or the media. But, to really understand how this lethal financial catastrophe is already knocking at our front door we first have to trace the root causes of where, why, and how such a economic disaster has come into being. Remember Soylent Green where Charlton Heston set out to solve one crime only to find out that crime was related to a much more sinister and diabolical plot. A hidden secret so hideous nobody could believe what was actually happening. In the movie that secret was the hidden source of the world's food supply. We can use that type of scenario to uncover the largest cover up and hidden agenda in the history of the world.

Nazi Propaganda and the Bandwagon Effect
To put it shortly and sweetly: Humans are hard-wired to get off on gossip. For anyone gearing up for a holier-than-thou response to that premise: you, my fellow human, are lying. You, like me and like everybody else, were blessed and cursed with our distinctly human need to be in the know. This nosiness might be thought of as one of the traits that drives people to seek community and be a part of a whole.

To Jeff Sessions, With Love
Dear Mr. Sessions, I was born and raised in the great state of Alabama and most of my, if not all of my life you have been a senator or political figure in the state. I grew up on a farm in rural north Alabama, going to a small school with only roughly 68 people in my graduating class. I obeyed the states laws and I attempted to bet he best citizen I could be.

The Possible Future Events - Europe
The old superpowers are falling, new nations are rising, Europe is in political chaos, Northern Africa and the Middle East are facing revolutions, uprising and terrorism, Equatorial Africa and South Africa are facing famines, South-East Asia is facing new Wars and North America is in political instability. "The Butler!" Syndrome in Middle-East Politics
Before I was able to finish this piece on Middle-East politics, the US (or, to be more precise, the Trump administration cornered by the unveiled Russian ties) decided to shower the Syrian Regime with Tomahawks.
