Gun Control
***DISCLAIMER: This is something I wrote a number of years ago on an old blog that I felt was still relevant, given the current political climate, and wanted to share. Keep in mind: I struggle with the concepts of politics. I claim no allegiance to any political party. So none of this is politically "motivated" or serves as any type of propaganda for either side of the aisle. And, this material is owned by no one other than me. Prelude To Revolution
America, from sea to shinning sea has always been a beacon of hope and salvation for troubling souls from every corner of the globe. For over one hundred years the United States stood for as the land of equal opportunity. Where anyone could aspire to achieve a better quality of life. For all those who are willing to work hard the steps of the upward mobility ladder were free to climb. A far cry from the reality of today. The steps of the upward mobility ladder are now almost impossible to find, cluttered under an avalanche of false hopes and insurmountable obstacles.

Democratic Party Exposed as Fraud
by Joe Giambrone Stand-Up Comedian Jimmy Dore, from his homemade garage studio, has shown America that the so-called "progressive wing" of the Democratic (sic) Party is another lying, deceiving, useless, counter-productive fraud. Not one elected, self-proclaimed "Progressive" will lift a finger to challenge Nancy Pelosi and her stranglehold on America's legislative agenda. Not even one will demand a vote for universal medicine in the middle of the greatest pandemic in U.S. history. Those congress people pretend to be "representatives" standing up for common citizens--our only chance at some influence in that cesspool that is Washington D.C.--but this conflict has revealed their duplicity.

Second Round of Stimulus Checks
I KNOW for a solid FACT that I am not the only one who is sick and tired to death of hearing about this "second round of stimulus checks". I'm sick of hearing the same stupid updates every 22 minutes. I'm sick of news outlets being biased and placing the blame on everyone else. I'm tired of it all.

Toxic Conservatism
Toxic Conservatism And Toxic Religion Written by TJ Hyland December 27, 2020 Freedom is a spectrum of privilege. It has never been a right to act without consequence, it has and always will be a privilege. In order to achieve equality, the consequences of our actions must have equal weight and equal rights under the law for all citizens of the law. None of us are truly free. We have documentation identifying us as belonging to the state, so freedom is a social construct, and the spectrum of freedom is subjective. Yet, it is a progressive movement we must fight for because tradition aims to keep us, slaves. We may not be able to free our bodies, but we can free our minds. Only when we can do that, can we learn how to change the system.

This Election Result Will Provide a Welcome Breather, But Not Really Address America's Issues in Depth
One of the truest opinions I heard (which I am going to post and not forget, as it summarises what I have studied and analysed for years), voiced by an American lady, follows below:

A Citizen Legislature
We have been operating our government contrary to its design... & very obviously it isn’t working. Much good has come from the last 4 years, (I am not here to argue that today) but the best that’s come from the latest “Revolution” in our country... the average, ordinary Americans have become much more educated about our Constitution, how our gov't is to work for the citizens, the SWAMP in every community across the country is being exposed, & citizens are taking action to resume their position as rightful owner of this government & it's operation. When the people fear government there is tyranny, & that Woman in Lansing has been counting on just that reality... when the gov't fears it's citizens there is freedom.

Tell Tale Heartless
While Trump continues to ignite a furor over his election loss we have to understand that when public officials, police, and armed forces act above the law anarchy rises. These people including Donald Trump are sworn to serve and protect the public. And, yet over the past 35 years there have been more instances that have given rise to anarchy in our streets. When the United States has been subjected to years of disingenuous policies the political corruption that is now at the highest levels we have seen in decades has increased the numbers of impoverished millions to unprecedented levels. Not since the Great Depression has America seen such wide spread homelessness, starvation and acute poverty.

"Midnight In A Perfect World"
14DEC2020; 2315, MON. Dear Fam, Tell me, Brother Man, ever heard the adage "the money don't really make me whole"? My first time hearing it was likely somewhere around the time that the beautiful and talented rapper, Noname (formerly known as Noname Gypsy), decided to open up her debut mixtape with that line way back eons ago on 7JUL2016.

Somewhere in the Middle
First let me introduce myself. I am 48-year-old mom of five boys. I was born in Virginia to a Navy sailor who served his country with honor. My mother was from Florida and my dad from Missouri. When I was about 2 and a half, we moved to the Missouri Ozarks. I was raised to respect everyone regardless of sexual orientation, race, religion or political beliefs. I have fought a mostly silent battle for many years. It seems my beliefs that fall into the political realm do not fit with either of the major parties. This leaves me stuck in some very uncomfortable positions. Most people of my acquaintance fall rabidly one way or the other.
