California Court: Flight Attendants Require Rest & Meal Breaks and Overtime Pay
The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a ruling in a lawsuit that accused Virgin America of failing to pay flight attendants for hours they spent undergoing training, taking mandatory drug tests, completing reports or working before and after flights. Additionally, the airline did not provide the flight attendants with accurate wage statements, pay overtime or allow them to take meal or rest breaks.

Buses Were Always The Answer
Dear Mr. Wheeler, When I was in third grade my teacher asked us come up with greener, more efficient ways to travel. My classmates offered far flung ideas like flying cars and wind powered boats, helium balloons and rocket skateboards. Most of the options were science fiction, highly impractical, or both. But one quiet boy named Adam simply said, Buses. Thirty years later, he's still right.
