I'm Still Hungry
My daughter is an unstoppable force; unfortunately, this means her stomach is nothing short of a black hole. It doesn't matter if she had a full three-course dinner that Gordon Ramsay himself would cry over; she will always come back within the hour and ask for a snack. This holds true for most kids I know, honestly, whether those kids are picky about what goes in their mouths or not. Most parents know the exasperation of finally getting everyone fed, and cleaning up the mess, just to hear the patter of feet that stop just behind you.

The Mirror
As a mirror, I’ve pretty much lived my life just leaning against one out of the four walls in a maturing 16-year-old girl's room whose name I suspect is Samantha. At least, the reason why I think this is because I usually hear her family calling her Sam, or Sammy, so I made the inference that her name is Samantha, or just maybe her father was hoping to have a boy, so he decided to name her Samuel.

Beautifully Silent Part 1
I have tried to fight the currents of life, from wanting to keep something how it is to having something ripped from your grasp. When you are young, you don't know much; you only know who to love, who to trust, and your mind thinks that everything is completely perfect. I was young when I thought my world was, until I was older did I realize it wasn't. So many changes had to be made, none of them where mine. I was born into society, and because I was young, I had no idea how I had to fit into the world. My parents where rich, so they gave me everything I could want. I had the best tutors, all of them said I was an extremely fast learner.

An Open Letter To Victims of Domestic Abuse
I know it’s hard. I know sometimes you feel like you can’t possibly make it another day, but you can. I know that at times you feel so broken, so used and forgotten. You feel like you can’t possibly survive. At times you will see a story that reminds you that your relationship is not okay. It’s not healthy at best and dangerous at worst. You know that you can’t stay, but leaving seems impossible. Why should you have to give up so much in order to escape? Why are you being punished because he is a monster?

How Instagram Improved My Confidence
In April 2017, I finished my third year of university and returned to my hometown in search of a summer job. Not only did I find three jobs, I also found my new hobby: Instagram. Now, some might think it's foolish to take pictures of yourself for the internet. Others might consider it vain to constantly put your face out into the world. I think that deciding to post on Instagram more often made me a more confident person.
