NBA BRAWL ERUPTS Miles Bridges And Isaiah Stewart Turn NBA Game Into WWE Match With Wild Center Court Brawl

Why fight on the floor when there's a ring?

Lift every fist and punch….During Black History Month, NBA players, predominantly Foundational Black Americans (FBA) on the Charlotte Hornets and the Detroit Pistons showed their entire rear ends during a game which almost is at midseason. What looked like a simple foul escalated into an all out fisticuffs.

Players not even in the game scrambled onto the court to be part of the melee. This is just a microcosm for the hatred spewed every day through the ideals of community, brotherhood, and unity. They obviously fall flat when it comes to tempers flaring from the opposing squads.

There should be no place for the adults to fight on the floor without gloves in a ring. This entire scene could’ve been avoided if they just remembered the figures in black culture who lived and died just so that these buffoons could dribble a basketball.

The entirety of the game should apologize to the fans in the stands and those watching at home. Commissioner Adam Silver ought to make the offending parties pay fines, sit on the bench a few games, and force them to do commercials related to the titans of industry in the black community.

This may not seem like much, but it will give a black power fist not to the eye but to the sky. Such behavior shall not be tolerated in a league of millionaire players and billionaire owners. It’s like that joke: Why can’t white men jump? They don’t need to, they own the team. So, most of the people who hold stakes in the game should be penalized on both sides of the court. As they cash their deposits, they should be reprimanded for putting allegedly grown men on the floor who can’t control their emotions.

Is it because they come from depressed neighborhoods and seek father figures? That’s a trite and well-trod idea. The real reason behind their incapacity to keep the peace is irrationality.

This deadly thought plagues even some of the people that would normally be level-headed and reasonable. Instead, with just a few taps to the jaw or a fist to the gut, an otherwise conscientious individual can turn into an animal on two legs.

The NBA deserves much more than this. In a league where the object of the game is to score the most baskets, not throw the most blows, it should be simplified to every athlete: don’t fight. If they break this commandment, they should look forward to expulsion from the association if the advertisements and deductions in pay and time playing aren’t enough.

It’s so unnerving to see the best talent in the world clash against each other like monkeys in a cage. Their inability to express themselves without putting up the dukes is what should concern owners, coaches, and other staff. If a player cannot control himself like a grown man, he should be relegated to a team in Iran. Then he will see what it’s like to be on a harsh team where getting into a fight might mean being pushed off a tall building.

But back to the United States and the lax show of reprimand that is exhibited by the top brass. All of the hours of footage and playmaking and discipline go out the window when some multi-millionaire gets shoved too hard to the deck. Rather, there should be in place stricter measures to counter the insidious nature inherent in the league.

People often argue about eras. Ironically, there were probably fewer brawls in the eighties and nineties because the refs allowed the players to be more physical. May this day come again.
