Dec. 26 - Jan. 1 Molly Davis - Central Michigan Molly Davis got off to a slow start this season after posting an amazing average of 20.1 points per game and shooting a career high .502 from the field in 2020-21. This season she averaged 17.1 points on .381 shooting in her first 10 games. On New Year's Day, game 11, Davis scored 32 points with 10 assists and five rebounds in a win over Northern Illinois.

Dec. 19-25 Kierstan Bell - Florida Gulf Coast Just when you thought Kierstan Bell was cooling off, she steps up to let you know that she is very much still one of the top scorers in the NCAA. On Nov. 26, she scored a season best 39 points in a win over Tennessee Tech. After that she went four games without scoring over 19 points until Dec. 20.

15 Interesting Facts About Basketball
The most obvious fact about the game of basketball is that it's played on an elevated surface or court. The court is bounded by a (usually) rectangular boundary known as the foul line which splits the floor into two equal halves. At each end of this line, there is a basket, one at the bottom of which is where the ball must pass for it to be considered as having been scored.

Kobe Bryant-Life biography
During his first season with the Lakers, he was on the bench most of the time but became the youngest NBA player to play an NBA game. He became the youngest player ever to play in the NBA at the age of 18 and 72 days. He was soon traded to the Lakers and became the second youngest NBA player in history at the start of the 1996/97 season. In his sophomore year, he was selected to compete in the NBA All-Star Game, after which he was part of all NBA teams.

Dec. 20 No. 18 South Florida 77, West Virginia 55 South Florida led 22-17 after the first quarter and held control the rest of the night as it improved to 9-3. Forwards Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu and Bethy Mununga both posted double-doubles for the Bulls.

Dec. 12-18 Jewel Spear - Wake Forest Wake Forest's Jewel Spear averaged 32.5 points on 52 percent shooting in two games last week. The 5-10 sophomore guard scored 40 points in a win over East Tennessee State. She hit 14 of her 25 shot attempts and nailed 10 of 11 threes in that win on Dec. 13. The next game against South Carolina State, Spear made five of 11 threes on her way to a double-double. She scored 25 points, with 10 rebounds and a season high five assists.

WBB2K22: Hoops Report 21
Dec. 17 Ole Miss 73, Samford 48 Ole Miss (11-1) got its 11th straight win as Shakira Austin dominated with 20 points and eight rebounds. The 6-5 center shot 8-10 from the free-throw line. She also got three steals with two assists with zero turnovers. It was Austin's second 20-point performance of the season.

Dec. 5-11 Maddy Siegrist - Villanova After a rough start averaging 10.5 points making 10 of her first 32 shots of the season Maddy Siegrist played just two games before returning to have her best game of the season. She led Villanova to a 76-67 win over James Madison on Dec. 9, with a monstrous performance. She scored 36 points with 17 rebounds. The 6-1 junior forward shot 50 percent nailing half of her 26 shots. Last season she averaged 23.3 points and 10.3 rebounds and shot 48 percent from the field.
