Women's Hoop Report XLVI
Feb. 16, 2021 Georgia Tech 67 - Miami 56 Guard Kierra Fletcher and center Nerea Hermosa scored 15 points each as Georgia Tech improved to 12-5 in a win over ACC foe Miami. Hermosa made seven-of-nine shots, while Fletcher knocked down half of her 12 attempts from the field.

Feb. 13, 2021 Georgia State 71 - Georgia Southern 66 Above: Ashley Foster Guard Ashley Foster scored 11 points and forward Hannah Sadler had 10 as Georgia State defeated Georgia Southern, 71-66. The Georgia State (10-7) defense locked up its opponent. Georgia Southern had 19 turnovers opposed to 11 assists. Foster and teammate Deasia Merrill snatched three steals each. Merrill was impressive, getting her three swipes in just 10 minutes of action off of the bench. Sadler also collected two steals.

“So how did you get here T?” my teammate on the Boston Celtics asked after our first practice together. “ You wouldn’t believe me if I told you Shay, but if you have a minute I’ll tell ya.”I said willingly. “Yea now I have to hear this” he said as he took off his shoes and leaned back against the lockers. I took a deep breath then began my story.
