Should I Let My Kid Play Football at a Young Age?
Yes.... to go ahead and answer your questions and address your fears and concerns of your child playing football at a young age; it is possible to have a safe, enjoyable, and learning experience without any major injuries. As adults, we have to understand that when anyone is playing any kind of sport, or really anyone, they the potential to suffer injuries. The best thing we can do and parents can do for their child is preparing for it.

The Mixed Emotions Following the Eagles Super Bowl Victory
The Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl LII (that's 52, for those of us who stopped using Roman numerals long ago). For a city that sports some of the most diehard fans (and we really do our best to diehard, for our teams), it's a dream almost six decades in the making. The Philadelphia football team hasn't won a championship since before the Super Bowl was a thing and, believe me, fans in this town know how to suffer, though we never do it in silence.

Five Things We Want From the XFL
The XFL is making a comeback like a zombie from The Walking Dead. Instead of infecting you with a deadly virus, the XFL is looking to infect you with patriotism and love for football. Vince McMahon's new project aims to take some of the viewers that the NFL has been losing over the last couple of years. Protests, changes to the rules & politics have discouraged some fans from watching the NFL. One of the ways that McMahon looks to vulture some of these fans is to "eliminate" politics from football. In the new XFL, the players will be required to stand for the National Anthem & any type of protest will be done on the player's personal time. This, making the game faster, & fan participation are some of the changes that McMahon promises that would make football great again. But what are some actual changes that the average NFL fan, or even just a TV fan, would like to see on the XFL? Here are five things that the XFL could do to make me want to watch their games:

I thought about how proud I would be to see him suited up, helmet glistening in the sun. I thought about how excited he would be to play football “just like his old man.” I thought maybe he’d play the same position. Maybe he’d even have my number.

I’m Sorry, the Washington Redskins Did What?
"...I believe it was Socrates who said: 'I drank what?'"- Val Kilmer as Chris Knight in Real Genius. That quote ran through my head as I heard the news that the Washington Redskins and Kansas City Chiefs had agreed to a deal that would send QB Alex Smith to D.C. in exchange for CB Kendall Fuller and a third-round pick. I just could not fathom why a team like the Redskins, with a pretty capable signal-caller in Kirk Cousins destined for a mega-deal this offseason, would just up and move on.

Super Bowl 2018
The Super Bowl is the biggest party of the year, every year. Not necessarily for the game itself. Oh no. This is about much more than a simple championship for arguably America’s biggest sport. There is so much more going on that the game itself is almost seen as anticlimactic. An afterthought. At least that is the way it seems for us fans in the Philadelphia area, and more specifically, Philadelphia Eagles fans. There is a lot to see and do that surrounds the Super Bowl. There are the hours upon hours of pre-game shows to watch (or not, seeing how it gets redundant quickly), the singing of the National Anthem. The pre-game concert. The halftime show. The commercials. Of course, the food and adult beverages. If anything, the food and drinks take center stage for me, since I host a yearly party for this event. I plan, prepare, and cook the refreshments for the game. I love doing it. Family and friends come over, relax, enjoy themselves, and enjoy whatever that makes them happy (game or not). It is a true party for us. The 2018 game, however, will take on a more personal significance. Our home team is playing in the game. And for us, the party is going to be special.

As I’m lying here in bed thinking about the New England Patriots and the New Philadelphia Eagles playing in Super Bowl LII, I can’t help but wonder what the Cleveland Browns are up to after pretty much taking a whole year off. Are they making moves to get better? Are they deciding on a new head coach? I know I would if I were them, but since I’m not, I’m just left here reading news articles and hoping the best for a team I enjoy next season.

Buffalo Bills Are Poised to Be America's Team
The 2017-2018 season in the NFL was an exciting one for your average Buffalo Bills fan. For your rabid fan, it was probably a bit stressful. But regardless of your perspective, the Buffalo Bills broke their 17-year playoff drought and made it into the "tournament." Western New York was overjoyed.
