This week, Mammoth Cave National Park announced that the Cave Research Foundation had secured another eight miles, making the project at least 420 miles long. The world's most famous cave system is the limestone labyrinth, which has been tested for more than 400 miles, and Mammoth has an average capacity of about 400 miles [600 km]. The longest cave in the world, according to the Caves Research Foundation. The park in southern Kentucky announced on its Facebook page that eight miles of passage had been added to the cave system, bringing the total number of mapped sites to 420 miles. Kentucky Lonely National Park is a natural resource and wildlife park inhabited by researchers from the Caving Research Foundation.

To Pick South Dakota Sweet Corn
2021 has been a very… interesting year for me. I intend to write a piece at the end of the year, but with October coming to a close in a little over a week, there’s likely not a whole lot left to write by most standards. I hope anyway; there've been some curve balls this year that I’m still dealing with. Here, I would like to talk about a trip I took to South Dakota this year, in July/August. It was the cause of first stress, then some happiness, and then gratitude. Due to my aunt and uncle’s desire for privacy, and also my lack of impulse to take many photos (reaching for my phone isn’t usually my first instinct), I will only refer to my aunt and uncle as such - without name - and there won’t be many personal photos.

Why a surf holiday is a good idea
There was a time when surfing was the domain of counterculture, pot smoking beach bums. As recently as the 1960's and 1970's, surfing was looked upon with a certain level of disdain. There is no doubt that times have changed. Today, there are more than 30 million surfers around the world, as surfing has gained mainstream acceptance since the 1980s. The annual revenue for this industry exceeds $6 billion.
