How I Went from $1.60 to $4,000 in 48 Hours in a Foreign Country
Fifteen years ago, before social media, I wandered into a small theater in Portland, OR, where they were showing a documentary called What the #$*! Do We (K)now!? It featured Dr. Amit Goswami, a quantum physicist professor from UCLA who had scientifically concluded that we are all connected. He states that if we could let go of our egos, quiet our minds, and open our hearts, then we would have heaven on earth. He concludes that we are all Gods, connected by a hive mind of consciousness, and along with the laws of quantum physics he determines that it is our collective consciousness that creates our reality.

Campsite #11, Furano: Flowers, Food and a Bar to Meet Locals
Unlike my sunny escapade in Biei, my single night in Furano was a miserable drizzle. Here, I also chose a park to camp in, again for the reason that there wasn't really any other option for camping unless I had a vehicle to drive to a campsite or Michi no eki (the ones in this area weren't accessible by foot or public transport).

What to Do in Hong Kong During a Three-Day Weekend
Hong Kong is a place that’s becoming more and more popular with tourists, and if you haven’t been there yet, it would be very advisable to go now, before it becomes extremely mainstream and crowded. Since Hong Kong is not actually around the corner, you might think that you need more than three days to see what it has to offer. And this is where you would be wrong—even three days are enough in Hong Kong. If you add two more days for the actual flight and the preparations, you can have a great holiday that will last for only five days. Interesting and quick, so it’s a great destination for a week off. Now, what are you supposed to do in Hong Kong for three days, and what are the things that you should keep an eye out for?

Is This Really the Biggest Public Library in the World?
Reading, they say, does not only improve your life and skills but trains the brain and actively raises your vocabulary and writing techniques to a positive level. Above all, reading helps you focus and concentrate—and of course, libraries cannot be left out when you talk about books. They are meaningless without books. If you're an author or one who likes books and believes in collection of quality contents, you are in to witness the best library in the world. The futuristic library was built in Tianjin, a coastal city about 100 kilometers from the capital Beijing. It contains almost a million books on the shelf. Perhaps you will need this great library to shelf your books as an author.

The Spontaneous Order of Phuket
Strolling through the streets and alleys of Phuket is a constant stream of stimulation. It’s hard to know what to look at with the barrage of color and smells, dodging amateur photographers who find most objects the most enthralling subject. Nobody would plan anything like this—and thank goodness.

'Bule'. Top Story - May 2019.
'Hi, Bule!" The call of a young Indonesian child makes me turn my head and wave. The child lights up, enthusiastically waving back. I continue walking down the crowded sidewalk, ducking to miss the low hanging backpacks that a vendor is selling, towering over the rest of the passerby. I am the Bule.

Cruising Round Japan Was Worth It!
After a long flight and a few nights in Tokyo, I took my first steps onto Diamond Princess, a spectacular boat catering to 3,000 guests of 40 nationalities. To be one of them was a privilege I’ll never forget. I’ve been on two cruises with P&O and this was my first Princess cruise, and whilst it’s still a bit hard to say which cruise company I prefer, I would say this cruise has been my favourite so far because of the ports and how they appealed to me.
