Trip of a lifetime
I am looking forward to someday making a solo trip back to England and then traveling to Scotland and the Orkney Islands. It almost calls to me, begging for me to return and see all the places I could not see when I was sixteen. I would have to spend around two months to see everything I want to see. Picking out where I would start is difficult, but I think the Orkney Islands would be the best place. Starting at the furthest point north and working my way down.

Sometimes you're forced to travel alone
During my late 20's there was a time when I started to make some money but my friends weren't. Some were busy doing other things. In these fork in the roads you have to choose to do things yourself. If you don't then you're going to miss out on opportunities. So there were a few instances when I went out and travelled alone.

To Ride A Jet-Powered Broomstick
When I was growing up my mom hated planes. In fact, to this day she wouldn’t even drive me to the airport. We drove everywhere, every family vacation was a road trip kind of vacation. When I was a sophomore in high school my choir class took a trip to Boston, Mass. and rode a bus for 27 hours to get there. I had gotten pretty lucky, in my dated opinion, that the occasion never arose to have to ride in a plane.

One Day
I'll start this off by letting you know, I love animals more than anything on this Earth, and my most ambitious goal is to eventually save an animal species. I recently got accepted into college for a Wildlife and Forestry Conservation degree. This will take a few years but once that is done, I plan on visiting every country available to me to see at least one of their Wildlife Preservation facilities. I know this will be a very expensive and hard feat, but I have never been more excited to plan something in my life. Whether this be a solo trip or a trip I take with my now fiancé is yet to be determined, but the trip will happen.

The Edge of the World:
Inspiration is not a guest that you invite to dinner. It is not a reliable friend you can count on when you need it most. Inspiration is not the type you introduce to your parents as your trusted partner. No. Inspiration is a fickle lover. An illustrious, delicious, ever flighty vagabond. It goes where it pleases and does not beg you to follow, however, you will. You cannot help but want to be along for the ride. Inspiration demands to be chased. A lustful, romantic, desire – oh how we peruse it all our lives! Therefore, I would not wait for inspiration to find me. The purpose of my solo trip would be to find it. I would at first think. Some may consider me a fool but where lust is present, so is foolhardiness. They say love is what makes you blind. Quite frankly it is my firm belief that, while this is true, it is even more true of lust – and by association – of inspiration.

My dream solo trip
My dream trip would be to go to the Maldives which has many islands in South Asia however not all are inhabited. It is totally surrounded by beautiful waters full of different sea life that can even be seen to come up the beaches and your hut. My first choice of accommodation would be on the Fihalhohi island as they are famous for the over water huts and a private terrace. I would choose to stay at the Movenpick resort or Varu by atmosphere as these one I have heard highly recommend and have beach front huts as secondary options. Both are not overly to far from the sea airport either and require less than hour further travel by sea plane, ferry or some islands can be done by road.
