solo travel
You've got somewhere to go, but no one to go with; solo travel is the nexus of independence and opportunity.
The Fear that keeps me Home
It's been over a month since my last day of classes in university, and it came almost three months ahead of time. "These are unprecedented circumstances". Everywhere. Soon enough, I felt the weight of the news on my shoulders. The threat of the virus became more real. Not only was it in the country, but it had taken hundreds of lives already. Until that day, I was still oblivious to it all, still trying to make the best out of my semester abroad. We all were, it is what exchange students are meant to do.

Run
We're all running from something every day. It may be from a feeling we have, our past, something that's bothering you now, or even someone but sometimes there is a few moments that hit us so hard where all we want to do is run from our lives and start anew. I've always wondered what I'd do if I wanted to run from my life and start something new.

10 days that changed my life!
I’ve never been good at prioritising my own wellbeing, but in Nepal I nailed it with a blissful stay at a yoga retreat in the Pokhara Valley followed by an awe-inspiring, life-affirming, thigh-burning trek in the Annapurna foothills. I topped it all off with an overnight stay in a majestic 5-star luxury hilltop lodge. Yeeeeeeesssss!

The Moment I Realized I Could Travel Alone
I have always been drawn to travel and adventure. I love experiencing new places and cultures, and pushing myself to try new things. Traveling is exciting and humbling in all of the best ways. It provides learning experiences and memories that'll last a lifetime. But it isn't always easy.

My First Solo Trip To Chicago!
Dancing is Very Much My Life In this post I am going to talk about my first solo trip to Chicago!! This is big for me because it was my first solo trip ever, but it will be the first of many solo trips because I had such great time! Okay, so to give you some context I was traveling to Chicago because I was accepted into a dance festival that was located there. I submitted my solo that I choreographed, and I was blessed to be able to perform it at the Trifecta Dance Festival. I treated this trip like a vacation so I’m going to tell you about all the events and activities I participated in. I traveled around the city using the train system, which is hella easy to navigate. I also rented an Airbnb in Lincoln Park for $348 for 5 days ( ya can’t beat that! especially I was procrastinated and rented it a week before the trip).

Alone Together
Travelling solo rarely equates to being alone; as I’m sure you’ve heard before. You may begin alone but you forge friendships quickly in hostels, through Couchsurfing, Workaway or just chatting with a beer on a beach somewhere. So often you form fast and real bonds with people that endure whatever time they are meant to endure.
