Analysis of Revolution Will Not Be Televised by Gil Scott-Heron
The poem “Revolution Will Not Be Televised” by Gil Scott-Heron is a powerful piece of spoken word. The reading is one of raw emotion that uses popular media icons from its era and the names of products from its time to convey its message (Scott-Heron). This message and the poems’ theme carry forward into today where we now see a new revolution rising around the world with regards to the media and mandates from the pandemic. The primary theme is revolution and the secondary themes are that revolution requires action and revolution requires awareness.

Following NASA's request to prioritize its Psyche mission on a Falcon Heavy launch, SpaceX promptly executed a Falcon 9 launch just a few hours later on Friday. The day commenced with the eighth ever flight of Falcon Heavy, which took off from Kennedy Space Center's Launch Pad 39-A at 10:19 a.m. Despite the presence of haze and clouds, the launch was successful in delivering NASA's $700 million probe, destined for a six-year journey to rendezvous with a metal-rich asteroid known as Psyche, into space.

CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK
CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK — On Saturday, a significant portion of Utah was afforded a clear view of the "ring of fire" eclipse. Given that the next occurrence of such an eclipse in Utah is not expected until 2045, this event managed to attract crowds to various locations throughout central and southern Utah, including several of Utah's National Parks, which were situated directly in the eclipse's path. Prior to sunrise near the Needles Visitors Center, families such as the Hopkinses embarked on an early start, aiming to avoid the influx of people on the eastern end of Canyonlands National Park. Although it may have been earlier than necessary, it is always prudent to prioritize safety. The number of individuals present here was moderate, amounting to several dozen, but sufficient to cause congestion at the entrance. Nevertheless, for individuals like Jessie and Mark Hopkins and their children, the experience is deemed highly worthwhile. "We desired to be present at a location that would afford us an unobstructed view of the precise alignment," expressed Jessie Hopkins.
