The Ushers Of The Year's End: A Mikeydred December Dollar Prompt For All Vocal Creators
Share Your Stories And Read Other Submissions

Introduction
Every so often I set prompts in the Vocal Social Society and offer a dollar tip to five random creators who take part in it and ask them to share their stories in the comments and on the thread in the group.
This is not official and usually after each one I say that's it, but this is another time where I say, "No, let's have another prompt.
So What's Gonna Happen This Time?
I want you to write me a story or poem, the theme is "The End Of The Year" so that gives you a lot of scope. It could be Christmas, Hogmanay, Yule, Winter, Snow, Christmas Ghost Stories or anything to do with December as there are many holidays and festivals.
I will write a story myself and include it, but that won't be classed as an entry.
I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with and I know that you are all incredible creative Vocal talents, so get your pens, paper and keyboards out.
The music is "The Watcher" by Hawkwind.
Take a listen, it may inspire you.
So SHARE YOUR WORK in the comments here, and/or also on the thread in the Vocal Social Society if you are on Facebook.
Please drop your entry in the comments, otherwise, I won't see yours when I choose the random winners, Also please link and mention this piece in your entry, thanks for that.
On Wednesday 1st January 2025. I will award a dollar tip to five random Vocal Creators who have shared their work here.
The Thread in VSS will is here:
Here is the last prompt/challenge with the results and the five randomly chosen stories:

I did miss this one. Love the plot. Will give it a think.
Rolling it over in my head what kind of end I want to write about. For my own calendar pacing, the deadline is December 31st?
Somehow missed this, but I will join in with a story. I have an idea already. Heh heh!
