How I Overcame My Physical Incompetency
I guess I should start off by letting you know that I’m nobody special. In fact, I’m probably physically more inept than a lot of people. When I started breakdancing back in 2001, I noticed that there were different types of intellect out there. I made up some of them that made sense to me: Street smarts allowed you to read other people well, book smarts was how much actual information you can retain in your brain, creative smarts is knowing how to integrate all your thoughts for something useful, and then there was the dreaded physical smarts. I don’t mean using body language either (I think body language would fall under street smarts). Physical smarts to me was how much control you have over your body to do things. For instance, if someone showed you a few basic dance steps, someone physically smart would be able to understand what was needed and be able to perform it identically with the same rhythm.

My Review of the Movie 'Bohemian Rhapsody'
Bohemian Rhapsody is already a bonafide hit in the movie theatre. It’s a bio picture about the life and times of Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of the famous rock band Queen. Tons of people are checking out this movie and for this review I’ll give you my two cents while trying not to spoil the movie for those that still haven’t seen it already.

My Review of the TD MyAdvantage App
I’ve been using the TD MyAdvantage app for the past week and I learned a lot about my driving habits and general driving habits in my neighborhood. This app has opened my eyes to a lot of different aspects of driving that I never really contemplated. Ultimately my goal is to have the app help me save money on car insurance but time will tell how much of a benefit it really it is.

Elders Need to Follow the Youth and Tell Their Stories
When I grew up I was always told to listen my elders. I’m sure a lot of people are still taught this today, but what have our elders done to deserve our attention? With the changes that we’re going through in society today should this still be acceptable? Traditions change and our world is very different from what it was before. Some of our elders remained silent and were complacent when they saw wild injustices in their lives. To this day some are still withholding their stories. Some of our elders have perpetrated hate and taught it to future generations. I realize that not all of our elders are the same and times were different back in the day. I also know that not everyone can be a superhero, but everyone should at least have a conscience. Change has to start somewhere. We’ve seen a ton of growth in social awareness in today’s youth but this change could have happened much earlier. Maybe it’s the seniors that need to listen and understand the youth rather than the other way around.

'A Star Is Born' (2018)
I didn’t know this but apparently there were already four versions of the movie A Star Is Born before this fifth outing was remade. I know a lot of people are against remakes but every so often movies have to be remade because some movies don’t really make sense or are relatable to present times. When I think back at some of the acceptable racism, sexism and homophobia in some of the older films I used to watch I have no questions as to why we have to have remakes of films. I haven’t seen the old versions of A Star Is Born so I can’t really say there was a need for the remake but a remake was made nonetheless so let’s embrace it.

'Sons of Anarchy' Season 3
Another week and another Sons of Anarchy review. I’m really binging this thing like there’s no tomorrow. This time we’re at season 3. Just when I thought they already upped the ante they raise the bar even further. I had no idea where they were going to go with this season because season 2 wrapped up with that crazy cliff-hanger at the end.

'American Vandal' Season 2
Last year's surprise series American Vandal had me absorbed. I had previously watched Season 1 of Making a Murderer on Netflix back in 2015. American Vandal follows the same documentary style that Making a Murderer used with their wildly successful season, but with a comedic twist. It's funny that Netflix would allow a parody of one of their more popular series, especially so soon.

Use Your Time Wisely: Advice I Should Have Followed
Time is a very precious thing. It’s funny because it doesn’t actually exist, it’s something that humans concocted for measurement. Over generations it’s taken so much meaning to all of us. One of the biggest life lessons I’ve been told over and over and still never really followed deals with how I use my time. I’m sure everyone has been told that time is precious and we should be spending our time wisely. This is a valuable lesson that I think 95% of us will ignore despite knowing that it’s true. Why don’t we follow this advice and what does spending your time wisely truly mean?

'Sons of Anarchy' Season 2
If you've read my previous review of Sons of Anarchy season 1 you'll know that I have become a reluctant fan of the series. I didn't want to watch season 1 because I watched the premier multiple times trying to get into the series. I finally got forced to watch through the full season and I was thankful for it.

'Quincy'
Quincy is a biographical documentary on the life of Quincy Jones. Before watching this documentary I thought I knew a lot about Quincy Jones. This film gave me better insight into the lives that he affected and his influence not only to American culture and the black community but to the world. It ended up being a heartwarming and inspiring film that I think everyone should try to check out.

'Night School' Review
Night School is a comedy about a guy with a learning disability that attempts to get his high school diploma. The commercials for the movie were funny in the same way that Kevin Hart usually gets us. He plays off his facial expressions and his down and out situations very well in the trailers. I was expecting pretty much something similar to what he has been delivering to us for the past few years. Needless to say, my expectations weren't through the roof. I knew what I was getting myself into and I was willing to watch it.
