The Endless Gallery
I hadn’t felt this moved by a painting in decades. Each tilt of my head brought a different perspective of swirling color. Waves of red swept into eddies of ochre oranges and sulfuric yellows. The longer you looked at it, the less any of the colors wanted to stand still. It might have shown a sunset, or the thin skin of a star. I ached to possess the skill the artist so clearly had possessed. The command of colors, of emotions. All placed on canvas by merely human hands.

Curiosity's Gift
Elm trees are best for shade, and spruce trees for hiding, but yew trees are best for climbing. The old yew’s rough bark felt good under our claws. Our eyes were not as clear as they once were, but the sharp winds of spring brought the smell of prey from further out along the branch.

ShitMyJediDoes - Posted by u/ICantSeeShitInThisHelmet 7 hours ago Hi, everyone. Long-time lurker here, first-time poster. My squad and I are stationed on Coruscant, and like most of you, we’ve been assigned to protect a Jedi. The idiot looks like he’s shaved maybe once in his entire life, and acts like he’s somewhere between the ages of ten and born yesterday. We’ve been working with him for almost six months, and honest question, how do you all prevent your Jedi from accidentally killing themselves? Not even joking. I will listen to any suggestions that are offered. To drive home why I’m asking this, here’s what happened this past morning. Keep in mind: something like this happens almost daily.

Containment
“Wait. I’m concerned what you heard was: ‘they have no military’. What I said was ‘they have zero militarized presence.’ Do you understand the difference, Emissary?” I shifted my weight awkwardly between all four of my back feet as I checked the translator on my ear to make sure it was working correctly. Diplomacy had never been a strong suit of mine–it was one of the many reasons I’d been stationed out here in the black to begin with—and I was unused to dealing with someone of Emissary Krellik’s high station. Not to mention a species so hard-wired for aggression.
