I am married with 7 children, 28 grands, and 13 great-grandchildren. I am a culture consultant part-time. I write A Poem a Day in February for 8 years now. I wrote 4 - 50,000 word stories in NaNoWriMo. I write on Vocal/Medium daily.

It Was Almost Warm Today. We Got The Upper 30s This Afternoon.
Now, don’t get me wrong, there is snow on the ground here. We won’t be riding anytime soon. We have taken a trip on rented bikes at this time of year before. We are not doing that this year though.

Day Five Of A Poem A Day In February
It is day five today! Only twenty-three more days to go. The countdown has begun! I don't think about it until I am out there writing alone. Then it occurs to me that maybe others won't join in. Then it happens, another writer, that is better than I am.

I Was Hoping I Would Never Have To Get Covid
I was exposed to a friend that tested positive just hours after I caught a ride with her. She was getting over a cold, she said. When I asked people how soon I should test positive, I was told 3 days, then 5, then 7 days. I didn't test positive with that advice.
