The Big Fall That Happened In My Yard Just The Other Day
Okay, it wasn’t that bad! I didn’t break any bones! I fell over 3 years ago and broke my shoulder, that felt that bad! The difference was when I broke my shoulder it was in snow and ice, not rain and mud! So, even that didn’t look as bad as the photo above!

My Other Name Was Jerry, When I Was 10 Years Old
In my culture, it is common to have another name. My Ojibwe name is an abbreviated version of Red-tailed fox running in the stars or Waagosh Bimibatood indishinakaz, (In Ojibwe — I am/my name is Running Fox) which I received before I was 10 years old.

All I Ever Wanted To Know About Cancer But Was Afraid To Ask
A difficult question that I am still asking: Ten years ago, I got up the courage to ask my oncologist about the pain that wakes me up at night. I said that it feels like it is in my bones. He said, "What happens when you get up?" I told him it goes away so then he said, "Well, get up then!"
