Homemade Rice Krispie treats
One of my favorite snacks is Rice Krispie treats. I tried this delicious snack when I was in middle school. I enjoy its texture, and it is made with marshmallows, making me love it even more. The first time I ever tried homemade Rice Krispie treats was when I was 16 years old, and I honestly thought it was way better than the ones sold in stores. After a few years have passed, I decided to try making this delicious treat myself. Homemade recipes are just better because they have a unique taste. I went to the store and bought the necessary ingredients.

I will always be your daughter
You were never able to have a child with my mom; still, you saw me as your little princess and daughter. Now that I look back at the time we had an argument and told you that you're not my dad and didn't speak to me for almost a week, I realize how much I wounded your heart with those words. I know that you value me so much. The relationship between us at the beginning was nowhere near great, I didn't like you at all, but as time passed, I learned so many things from you. I learned the importance of speaking up for myself; I learned not to be afraid to speak my mind, and I realized that despite my mistakes, those mistakes do not define me as a whole person. You showed me that I am someone who is a rose; you showed me I am not some loser like those kids at middle school would assume.

The desire for luxury things in life
There is nothing wrong with desiring luxurious things such as clothes, purses, shoes, etc. Some people may say that money doesn't buy happiness, and others would say that it does buy happiness. My perspective is that money can get you the things you want, but those things will eventually not matter to you. When you first get a pair of $400 shoes, you immediately like to show them off with a nice outfit, but as time and time passes, it may be that those shoes are not significant to you. Like Petyr Baelish from Game of Thrones Said: "it doesn't matter what we want. Once we get it, then we want something else." Sometimes, it's not about wanting expensive items but good quality items. I am all for vegan products or cruelty-free products, so when I order shampoo and conditioner, the most I have paid is close to $150. Most of the time, I make purchases from Briogeo. Briogeo is a company that sells hair care products that do not harm the environment. Sometimes, people look at how an item is beneficial for them, no matter how expensive.

The Facebook Sonnet: Denying Reality, Honoring Disconnection
Sonnets, like other forms of poetry, can be about a variety of topics such as love, people, objects, and so on. Sonnets consist of fourteen lines, contain iambic pentameter, and have rhyme. It is utterly amazing how writers can write about simple things and get audiences to become engaged. When writing a sonnet, writers must be sure that they are focused on a single idea so that readers do not get lost. The Facebook Sonnet by Sherman Alexie speaks to those who use social media constantly. Facebook is used by billions and billions of people worldwide; its mission statement is “to give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected.” However, over the years, Facebook has been utilized in ways that are unhealthy. Through the use of irony and rhyme, The Facebook Sonnet gives people the reality of what social media truly represents, which is that Facebook is viewed as this sacred place people can go to for anything that they are dealing with in their lives.

Motherhood: Not just sunshine and rainbows
Unexpected Pregnancy For women who don't plan on having kids, seeing a positive pregnancy test can feel like their world has fallen apart; the emotions they feel may be anger, confusion, fear, etc. However, despite a baby not being planned, women still find ways to cope with their pregnancy. One of the most critical things women should do when facing an unexpected pregnancy is reach out to people who won't be judgemental. If you find yourself completely weak, it's best to speak to people that will motivate you to stay strong. You can also schedule to receive counselling about your pregnancy so that it may help you decide what steps you want to take. Hopeful Beginnings is a child welfare agency that is focused on fully supporting women throughout their pregnancy through services such as counselling for adapting to motherhood, prenatal support, and postpartum depression support.

Rosibella
“It’s a girl,” said the lady, I was happy because I already had a name in mind: Rosibella Watching you move inside me brought so much peace to my heart I only see black and white, yet there is no doubt you are beautiful But I am afraid, what if the relationship between us is like the one I have with my mom? I admit, my heart would have a sense of jealousy if dad were your favourite I cannot force you to love me, because I did not love discovering a life was inside me

Mom, I do not hate you
Mom, I am sorry you feel that I hate you due to the distance between us. I need you to understand, I do not hate you, but I do hate your hypocrisy; I hate that always victimise yourself. Why is it difficult for you to be truthful? I know deep down you are not a bad person. You say I have resentment towards you, maybe I do, but I view resentment as deep hatred towards someone. I still remember so much of the things you did to me back then, but I do not hold any grudges against you. I just wish you could see yourself from my eyes.

Recipe for Rajas con Crema
Are you interested in preparing a delicious dish? Then when you go to the grocery store make sure to buy the ingredients to cook rajas con crema! Rajas con crema translates to roasted poblanos in cream. This is a Hispanic dish and when it comes to Hispanic dishes most of the time they will not taste awful. When I first saw this dish, my initial reaction was that it looked odd, to me it seemed like something that would not be pleasant for my stomach to have, but when my stepmom told me it did not contain any cheese, I was not hesitant to try it. I immediately fell in love with the dish and a few weeks later asked her how she prepared it so I could do it on my own. I am a huge fan of recipes that do not have a bunch of ingredients but are able to have a lot of flavor. I feel that this recipe, although simple, has excellent flavor.

Diary of an Oxygen Thief: Inside the Mind of a Narcissist
Facebook introduced me to Diary of an Oxygen Thief While scrolling through Facebook, there was this photo of a page from a book, it said: “I liked hurting girls. Mentally, not physically, I never hit a girl in my life. Well, once. But that was a mistake. I’ll tell you about it later. The thing is, I got off on it. I really enjoyed it. It’s like when you hear serial killers say they feel no regret, no remorse for all the people they killed. I was like that. Loved it. I didn’t care how long it took either, because I was in no hurry. I’d wait until they were totally in love with me. Till the big saucer eyes were looking at me. I loved the shock on their faces. Then the glaze as they tried to hide how much I was hurting them. And it was legal. I think I killed a few of them. Their souls, I mean. It was their souls I was after.” Immediately after reading that, I said to myself that I needed to purchase this book. I was amazed by the brutal honesty of the narrator. Not only that, but I wanted to read a book in which for the first time the protagonist is not always a good person, I wanted to read about someone who would tell their story but not be a good person. Typically, the protagonist is a good person, but in this book, the narrator is a narcissist by breaking the hearts of women because he does not want to experience being heart broken.

Simple Strawberry Milk Recipe
A while ago, there was a YouTube video titled Fresh Strawberry Milk Recipe by a channel named HANSE. I decided to view it and I just thought to myself how delicious it looked. So, when my mom came home with a box of strawberries, I decided to take the opportunity to make this recipe.

Sweetheart, Break Up With Your Mediocre Boyfriend
The other day, I was watching an old clip of the Steve Wilkos Show. The clip was about a controlling boyfriend. It was extremely creepy that the girl was explaining the situation in the relationship and her boyfriend was in the background, blaming her for the way he is. It is honestly so disappointing to be with someone that does not put effort into the relationship and acts like they are perfect. I was so happy when the girl made the decision to leave him, after everything he put her through, she had every right to put herself first. If you are currently dating a guy who cannot even do the bare minimum please dump him. Your mental health is more important.

The Bunny is my Spirit Animal
Bunnies are the Best! Whenever I get asked about what animal I consider to be my spirit animal, I always say the bunny. Bunnies are my favourite animal. They are so sweet and cuddly. Looking at them just melts my heart. My boyfriend has a pet bunny, but his family does not interact with it. I wish his bunny would not be so afraid to interact with others, but that is going to take some time because all everyone does is give her food and then leave her alone. My actual zodiac animal sign is the tiger, but I am nothing like the tiger. Here are some ways I relate to these beautiful adorable creatures:
