50 Critics: E.T.
When Science Fiction auteur Stephen Spielberg gave us E.T. He gave us the most iconic film about Alien life ever. E.T. Is a masterpiece because it gives us a more personal look into the life of an extraterrestrial, as opposed to just the eyes of the humans who fear them.

50 Critics: Krush Groove
When capturing the purest spirit of what Hip Hop is all about, especially when it first began the film Krush Groove is a great place to start. The film is an amazing semi-autobiographical depiction of the rise of Hip Hop’s legendary record label Def Jam and its creator Russell Simmons.

50 Critics: Sister Act
In 1992 comedy queen Whoopi Goldberg once again showed off her leading lady chop in the comedy classic Sister Act. Goldberg and her co-stars do a great job at keeping audiences hooked in this habit-donning adventure about a showgirl in witness protection at a convent hiding from her violent boyfriend.

50 Critics: Justice League
The Justice League film from DC comics is one of the biggest examples of improperly exercised potential. Some of the film’s biggest problems are we don’t know most of its main characters and the film has a villain who doesn’t pose much of a believable threat to the film’s protagonist.

50 Critics: Hawkeye
Though it doesn’t keep its central character as center focus as he should be, the Marvel series Hawkeye is a very competent and entertaining solo outing for the Avengers frontman. The biggest problem with this series is a superstar like Hawkeye should have had his own show a lot sooner.

50 Critics: Hercules
As the spinoff the iconic Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys is as equally entertaining with its sense of ancient history storytelling mixed in with a great sense of humor. Leading man Kevin Sorbo does a great job as the show’s head of an action packed, fantasy based series.

50 Critics: The Originals
If you wanted to craft the perfect vampire series that wasn’t just a frightful blood fest of action then you would’ve crafted the Netflix series The Originals. This series is perfect example of full potential of what others vampire franchises like the Twilight Saga should have done but didn’t do.

50 critics: She Hulk
What started off as a show with so much potential ended up being the Worse Marvel work since “Captain Marvel”. It may have meant well, but She Hulk falls flat with its constant whining from its main character who is the complete opposite of who she is supposed to be.

50 Critics: Dear Mama
Dear Mama is a heartfelt love letter to the legacy created by Hip Hop icon Tupac Shakur and his charismatic mother, Afeni. The icing on the cake is that Allen Hughes directed, so it’s an amazing tribute from a friend who knew Tupac from the very beginning of his career.

50 Critics: Squid Games
Though it ends on somewhat of a stalemate note, The Squid Games is a certainly clever metaphor of a story about how we are all just rats in a maze who are running a rat race to make it to the next big score that will save our miserable lives.
