A Moment When I Conquered Imposter Syndrome
At first, you think it’s just a simple lack of self-confidence. You think this can be fixed just by “changing your mindset” and that this can happen faster than a cat decides to ignore you. Eventually, you realize that there’s more to it than that.

What's It Mean to "Carve Out Time" for Yoga?
I move a lot. Subsequently, even though I’ve been at some wonderful yoga studios that I hated to leave, I’ve taken yoga classes at six different studios since I started practicing in 2018. Every studio I've been to had a distinct style and personality; some even taught completley unique yoga styles.

Are You Using Social Media Wisely?
The average user spends 2 hours and 22 minutes per day using social media. We only have 24 hours in a day and we typically spend 6 to 8 of those hours sleeping, which means social media is a pretty huge part of our typical day.

Sharing a Meditation Exercise for Self-Love
The right kind of guided meditation can make it a lot easier to lose yourself in the activity. Meditation can work wonders for stress reduction and overall improvement of your mental headspace. It’s not just a weird thing that your hippier neighbor down the hall does; it’s becoming more widely practiced with every year that goes by.

How to Hold a Beneficial In-House Networking Event
There are a few different types of networking out there. There’s the more vague type of networking, which is typically done with professionals at other businesses, where people strive to get jobs. Hubspot reports that 41% of employees interested in networking want to network more but don’t have enough time. It's a percentage that isn’t anything to sneeze at. It's a sign that even within single organizations, giving people time to network is valuable.

How I Discovered the Spiritual Side of Yoga
That spiritual, introspective aspect of yoga isn’t for everyone — but there are ways to get people to give it a try. I was — admittedly — the least spiritual yogi ever when I first tried yoga. I just wanted to lose weight and try doing it in a new way. I’d been to dozens of group fitness classes at different gyms and I just never really cared for any of them.

Is it Okay to Break Your Niche Sometimes?
“You know how creative people are, we have to try everything until we find our niche.” ― E.A. Bucchianeri Just like every other career path, writers get burnout sometimes. When you write about different aspects and areas of a certain topic, you’re going to have days where you just can’t think of a new topic to cover within your niche.

How Yoga Can Help You Practice Gratitude
“We take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude.” ― Cynthia Ozick Gratitude isn’t always easy to practice. It's something that I know would benefit me, but it's very hard to start implementing. I've made a few different attempts to integrate gratitude into my life and my routine. I've had spurts where I'd keep a gratitude journal pretty consistently for a few weeks, but then I end up dropping off because something happens in life and my schedule gets disrupted.

It’s All in the Pull
“Good communication is just as stimulating as black coffee, and just as hard to sleep after.” —Anne Morrow Lindbergh There were few things more alluring than a warm cup of coffee in the fall when the air turned cool and the leaves turned to fiery colors. She usually insisted that coffee was a year-round delight since she was admittedly rather obsessed with the proper preparation of espresso-based drinks. As they walked into the cafe, the smell of freshly-roasted coffee beans hit her instantaneously.
