Treasures in jars of clay
As David drove along Wellington Street in the north of town, he saw many homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk. Some drank alcohol, others smoked weed, and some reached out for money. The area was dirty and smelled bad. Stains of urine marked the walls. Broken bottles and filthy cardboard boxes littered the ground. Most were men in their forties, faces deeply lined. David parked at a convenience store, walked back to Wellington Street, and approached a homeless man. The man shouted, “Are you a cop? Don’t come closer.” “I’m not a cop. I just want to talk,” David replied. “Talk about what?” the man barked, then grabbed a knife from under a muddy pillow.

You are not a failure
“ You look sad, David, what’s going on?” the old man noticed, as David pulled out a chair when he entered the room. “ When I look at my life, I’m not happy. Nothing is working. I’m forty-three. I have no house, no money, no kids. I make minimum wage at my job to survive. Not to mention the credit card debts and some health issues. I think that I’m a failure,” David said, almost in tears.

How to lose weight in 21 days?
Kimberly was standing at her bedroom window when her mom parked in front of their apartment building. It took her mother almost three minutes to get out of the car because of her weight. Brittney, Kimberly’s mother, has tried many weight loss programs and all kinds of diets to get rid of her three hundred pounds in vain. None of those programs worked. Brittney slowly opened the car door and got out. Kimberley hurried to help her mother up the stairs to get to their apartment on the second floor.

A weeping daughter
Hey mom, I hope you’re doing well. I know you love me. So do I. You are the best of all mothers. Being the only child and only daughter of the family, dad and you have poured your tenderness, care, and love upon me. Even if dad is not alive anymore, I’m still grateful for the attention, sacrifices, and devotion you guys have shown me since birth.
