Her Last Halloween
It was Halloween and party time among friends as usual. Sally and her group gathered for a masquerade party. Ben was telling that old Halloween tale, as he did every year, about the curse upon Skull Cemetery. They all lived in a small town called Oakdale, whose only claim to fame, was having a haunted cemetery. However, this tale told that on Halloween the cemetery turned into a frightening nightmare. Anyone, brave enough to walk through Skull Cemetery beneath the light of the full moon and reach a large crypt and knock three times. The door of the crypt would open, then walk down into the crypt and take a look at what was there. Walk away, and out of the cemetery and the curse would be broken. It would just continue to be a haunted place no one liked to walk in.

Drinking With a Ghostly Spirit
Europe England The Ten Bells in London, England, is thought to be the most haunted pub in London. Do you remember a notorious fellow from long ago called Jack the Ripper? Well, this pub was once called by his name because two of his victims – Annie Chapman and Mary Jane Kelly used to drink there. The bar staff has reported hearing strange footsteps from the floor above where tenants were once housed. Then, if that is not enough as you sit and sip your drink, look for the shadowy figure of an old man in Victorian clothing, which might be the ghost of a victim or the murderer himself.

Enjoy the State Fair
Alabama Oak Mountain State Fair in Pelham, Alabama will be held from April 21 – 23, 2023. The fair is known for its live music and great family atmosphere. The Mi Pueblo food stand has become especially popular for its esquites, a creamy corn salad, tacos, and tamales. The tamales are what attract most people. They are prepared with a homemade masa wrapped around a filling consisting of shredded pork with red salsa or shredded chicken with tomatillo salsa. The tamales are assembled in individual corn husks, then stacked and steamed in a large pot for two hours and served warm. You just peel back the husk and add toppings like mild salsa, sour cream, and guacamole.

Giżycko in the Heart of the Great Mazurian Lakes
Gizycko is the largest town on what is known as the trail of the Great Mazurian Lakes. The town lies on a narrow pass between Lake Niegocin and Lake Kitano. This is one of the most attractive regions of Poland and great for tourists looking to visit places away from overcrowded cities. As much as European cities sometimes provide a lot of excitement, it’s great to get away from the crowds and discover lovely places you might have overlooked.
