#OutHedley2k18: The Perspective of a Former Fan Girl
This week, popular Canadian pop-rock band Hedley were hit with numerous allegations of sexual harassment and assault against young female fans. As a former hard core fan of theirs, the allegations are shocking and have me reflecting on all their shows I've been.

Justin Timberlake: 'Man of the Woods' Review
After the 20/20 Experience release that Justin Timberlake made, Man of the Woods had mixed reviews and was claimed "average at best." Justin wanted to tie back to his Tennessee roots with this new album and incorporate new and old styles of his earlier albums. With features from Alicia Keys and Chris Stapleton, JT adds a little bit of everything to his new album. I sat down and listened to every second of every song and broke it down for you all. I rated each song out of a scale of one to five. Here are my thoughts on Justin Timberlake’s new album, Man of the Woods.

"Man's Not Hot": Humorous Lyrics vs. Straight Parody. Top Story - February 2018.
I am aware that I am especially late to writing about this topic. Though I did hear the song the other night in a club, so I would consider it’s popularity to still render it as a tentpole event.

The 'List: Paul McCartney
Hello, one and all. My buddy Calvin Cherry has written a tribute to one of his favorite artists. He was one of the founders of one of the greatest rock bands out of the UK. Then, in 1970, the Fab Four went their separate ways and one of the four would forge an enduring career solo, with a group, with fellow artists, and even his late wife, Linda. My friend has the floor—introducing the handsome ex-Beatle known as Sir...

The Creation of Sia
Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, or more commonly just referred to as Sia, is most famous for her over-the-top exuberant artistic music videos, her emotional yet powerful fast paced ballads, and of course the brand name white and black wig. Her most common radio hits are “Chandelier,” “Cheap Thrills,” and the classic millennial soundtrack, accompanied by David Guetta, “Titanium.” However, Sia didn’t reach this high level of fame, prosperity, and brand level association overnight. Each of Sia’s songs tells a story, and to better understand the deeper meaning of those songs, it is crucial to examine where it all started from.

How Korean Pop Music Is Making an Influence in America
I have been a follower of Korean Pop (more commonly referred to as "K-Pop") for a little over a year now, and little did I know that it would make an image for itself in our country. With the popular K-Pop boy group BTS receiving two gold singles from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and being seen on numerous televisions everywhere (from being at the Billboard Music Awards, to The Ellen DeGeneres Show), it is pretty amazing to see some Asian foreigners earning the attention they rightfully deserve.

Who Is Joanne? The Inspiration Behind Lady Gaga's Most Recent Album
When we think of Lady Gaga, we all think of her crazy stage antics and even crazier wardrobe choices. As of 2016, people's relativity to the pop queen may have slightly shifted. Much to her fans' satisfaction, she released Joanne on October 21st, 2016. The album was praised by many and rejected by few. Gaga fans everywhere went...well...gaga. The beautifully written songs on this album did take her followers a bit by surprise due to being less electronic and slightly folky at times. Calling them songs almost seems like an insult, since many are beautifully crafted stories and very personal to the singer.

The Ultimate Road Trip Playlist
Growing up, I listened to music constantly and so did my family. My mom was the mom who woke up early on Saturdays and cranked the tunes extremely loud while she danced around cleaned the house all day long. That energy and excitement for something. Growing up music helped me through a lot of things I was going through. My mom is obsessed with music and so is my sister, only she got the vocal abilities and neither me nor my mom were fortunate enough to get. So, its been a blast watching her perfect her singing abilities. If I needed to be pumped up for a game or to go the gym, music was there. If I needed to listen to a song to put me in a dance party type of mood when I was sad, music was there.
