Why Don't Big Acts Come to Ottawa?
If you live in Ottawa you are no doubt used to having your favourite acts skip our beautiful city on their tours, and you may have asked yourself, why? Why won't they come and play here? There isn't any single correct answer to that question. Part of it has to do with location; it also has to do with our lack of large venues, and believe it or not, we're viewed as a small market.

Why You Should Listen to Brockhampton
Hip-hop has become the predominant genre of music in the United States. It offers listeners a wide variety of topics that can relate to one's life in many ways. However, something fresh and innovative was needed in a year full repetitive sounds. And this is when the experimental L.A. "boyband" Brockhampton saturated us (no pun intended) with three full-length projects in the span of a couple months. The Saturation trilogy will stand through the ages as one of the most risky but smart projects ever released, and its formula challenges modern sounds in a great way that will leave your mouth watering after each track. But what makes their craft so unique and powerful?

Migos - 'Culture' Review
Since bursting onto the scene, the Migos have been relentless in their pursuit of stardom. For years they banged on the door hoping to get in, but they remained outsiders nonetheless. All of that changed with “Bad and Boujee.” It was the spark they needed to blaze a trail on the music charts, and scorch their naysayers.

Hello, one and all. Here's the second artist profile for the new year. A mixed rock/pop act from both the US and the UK that formed in London. They went through many lineup changes and were considered more of a blues/rock band before changing their sound often and still have success elude them, until after another band member dropped out and there were five official members and their self-titled LP was released in 1975 and as they say...the rest is rock 'n' roll history.

Songs About Long Distance Relationships Every LDR Couple Should Listen To. Top Story - January 2018.
Songs about long distance relationships have been around as long as there have been long distance couples. It was John Donne who first underlined the ache of romantic separation in his poem, “A Valediction: Forbidding Mourning:” "Our two souls therefore, which are one, Though I must go, endure not yet A breach, but an expansion, Like gold to airy thinness beat." From here it’s straight to The Beatles' “P.S. I Love You.” Is there anything harder than long distance love, if you’re in it? Probably not. Long distance couples have a tough row to hoe, for sure.

5 Worst Rap Songs of 2017
5) Lil Pump - "Gucci Gang" Despite this song being one of the most obnoxious songs in the history of rapping, it blew up after it's release on Oct 23, 2017. First of all, drugs, sex and a high-end brand of clothing is really what this song is about. At least I think so. Second, the video takes place in a school! He is holding weed and slurring stuff about drugs! If this is how you get famous, I could probably get famous in three days and be a millionaire.
