What Are You Listening To?
Music has the power to lift our spirits when we are feeling down. If you are looking for something to make your hips move and your feet groove, or you want to boost your mood, look no further. I have found music to be very therapeutic, when it comes to helping with stress management. I have compiled a playlist, of my personal favorites for coping with a serious case of the blues.

Music and Concert Documentaries on Netflix
Too few people watch documentaries, which means that many music and concert documentaries on Netflix go unwatched. It's a damn shame, too, because there are a multitude of great ones no one sees. With so many movies and shows on the streaming service, it's hard to figure out what to watch. So often, quality shows are drowned in a quantity of crap. And documentaries can be made and uploaded to the service on the cheap.

Best Indie Rock Bands
We're pretty sure that VH1 has done at least one list ranking the best indie rock bands of all time. Indie rock has been around for longer than hipsters have been in Brooklyn, and the fact is that many of the biggest movements in music were sparked by good indie rock bands and their unique sounds.

#MusicReview: DNCE debut album will make you D-A-N-C-E
Song by Song DNCE review "This ain't water but it floats my boat" is my favorite line on this track. DNCE considers their music to be dance pop and this track is no exception with vintage 80's rock music vibes. The intro opens with vocal scales with them introducing the simultaneous name of the track and the name of the band.

Top Animated Bands
One of the top animated bands of all time is Gorillaz. The group, which is composed of two actual people - Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, with the help of a number of rotating music contributors - is known for having four animated individuals who play songs, make amazing music videos, and even go on tour via projection screens.

Mozart was a huge fan of alcohol as a form of inspiration. 19th century composer Berlioz wrote his Symphonie Fantastique under the influence of opium. Even Beethoven was known to smoke and drink while penning his favorite concertos.

The Most Fantasy-Friendly Music Genres Out There
If you're like me, you love listening to music that adds dimension to the book you're reading. Fantasy novels, for some reason, seem to get way more mood and dimension if you're listening to the right music. That being said, getting the right soundtrack often boils down to genre.

Things You Didn't Know About Being a Rock Star
If you listen to any major interview with a band, they'll be very upfront to say that there are things you didn't know about being a rock star. They may allude to groupies, or to the fact that there's a lot of stress in the job - and yes, those are things most people are aware of when they think about the lifestyle that comes with being a band member.

Most Overrated Electronica Concert Venues, According to an Expert
Electronica concert venues tend to be a bit different than most other venues out there. Unlike rock venues, electronica venues don't usually have seating and often basically require wide, open spaces. They also tend to have a lot more mess associated with them, more lenient security staff, and way younger crowds.
