My world stopped
I am a diabetic and for me, I have to watch what I eat. But this day I was willing to chance it. I mean what would you do if this wonderfully handsome man had lit candles and spend all day in the kitchen trying to make the day a wonderful moment to remember.

Gift or Curse
Just as she arrived home from a well deserved mini-vacation, Vee stumbled upon an unmarked package left on her front porch. “What the heck could this be?” She mumbled to herself. She immediately called out to her fiancé to see if he had been expecting anything in the mail. “Jay!” She yelled. “Did you order something?” He came running because her call was mixed with a sound of worry and concern. “ No Sweetie.” He replied. “What does it say?” She replied, “nothing!” “Absolutely nothing!” “Hmm…” Jay was just as worried as Vee at this point. “What should we do Babe?” “I don’t know Jay.”

Triangle of Two Lovers
Here's the thing...I'm fucked! I have this coworker that I liked (big time past tense) at the beginning of my employment. I'm not really good with attraction signs, but I can say for (almost) sure that we were flirting hard at some point. But you see, there's a thin line between success and failure when you work with the guy 40 hours a week. You CAN'T fuck up. And if you do, it will be ackward for a long time. So, being a reasonable person, I chose not to act on it. So, with time and patience, those feelings went away...At least I thought they did.

An Ex from Hell
I was once married to the devil. Not really but she was evil and controlling. The devil could easily take notes though that’s for sure. We were only dating for about six months before I casually asked her if she wanted to get hitched. I didn’t get on my knees or do anything special. Probably should have though, but I was young, dumb and full of cum as they say.

Scene 11
I often wonder if anyone knows what true love feels like. Is it an idea, a feeling, a place, or even a certain type of person? What makes someone fall in love? In my experience, I have noticed "true love" for me is brain chemistry. It's the emotional level of understanding who someone is. When I have felt love the strongest, it was always with people who wanted to understand how to love me. Someone who possessed the willingness because they truly wanted to and in turn I truly loved them.

To the Boy Who Broke My Heart but Helped Me Find Myself
Dear Jason Momoa (sure, that‘s not your real name but that of your hero), The day you told me that you weren’t feeling it a piece of me died. You said that something was off, that your former relationship ended abruptly and left things unfinished, making you wonder if there wasn’t anything left to do, a fire to rekindle. You confessed on that arctic winter day that you owed it to yourself to try. As the harsh winds froze the tears on my cheeks, my heart contracted painfully. It was all so sudden, so unexpected. I thought that everything was wonderful and was looking forward to discovering more about you, to experience our many carefully laid out plans. But you thought differently.

The Ghost
I first met Kaashvi while at the Goodwill on 57th. She caught my eye because of what she had been wearing. While I didn’t mean to stare, it was hard to help it because most of the women in the store had either blue shirts or were old ladies. She was 27 at the time and was wearing a red Salwar Kameez suit, which looked great on her.

Heart in your hands
There was a gorgeous girl named Leilani, she was smart talented and a real sucker for falling in love. I guess you can say most of us are hopeless romantics but this woman is different. She would pour her heart out in to every single relationship and is rarely single. Eventually she comes across this gentleman that seems to have it all together. His name is Anthony Simmons. He seems like he’s falling in love with her but he’s hesitant because of her deep past. Not only that but he always busy with “business”. Alright, so easy to say everyone has a past, but how deep is her past exactly? Leilani used to be homeless and although very talented , deep in addition. Anthony loved leilani very deeply but not deep enough to stay together. So eventually after two and a half years, he decided to make the breakup final over dinner . He told leilani cut and dry that he was on to bigger and better things and she wasn’t in the plans. All she could do was hold close her heart shaped locket that revealed the date of her aborted child’s death and cry . She has overtime has been through so much. Now yet another heartbreaking event. Anothony doesn’t seem to be fazed by the tears ,so after the unfortunate announcement he dismissed himself from the table . That was it for him ,though it wasn’t for her. She was left to pick up the pieces of her heart that’s forever shattering. The next day she called Anthony to try to have a conversation with him but no luck. She has great potential for greater things but will she stop begging for love , chasing men that doesn’t really reciprocate, and heal from the ruff past ? Eventually , in time she does! She started embracing life more went back to school and therapy and got a way better job . Not to prove it to her naysayers or even to Anthony who’s broken her heart the most but to herself. She is using all of her potential and talent! Fast forwarding three years later she is everything she had the potential to be and more. She landed a job as a veterinarian technician. She turned her life around for the better with all her pain , without a man , and with her head held high. This woman came a long way from death ,heartbreak ,grief and hard choices living in the hard streets of south central Los Angeles. Yet she has proven to herself she can move past it, but has she really? One day at the veterinary hospital she works a man shows up to pay her a visit for the first time in years . It was Anthony. She noticed that he was standing in the lobby. She met eyes with him and nervously clutched her heart shaped locket she always keeps around her neck. He came by to check in on her because he heard she was doing so well. She is but she does still have a soft spot for him. Leilani gave her all into this man. However ,he can’t just Stroll back into her life , she thought . Anxiety through the roof and heart on the floor she asks “what are you doing here?” .“Just here to congratulate you on your new career”he said “and say hello” . Hesitant about the sudden return she says thank you and continues with her work. She vowed that she’s not getting caught up in Anthony’s antics and more . The last thing she needs is to get fired over him just “popping up”. As she was attempting to get back into her work load , he interrupts her with another piece of jewelry that he would hope she would also hold close. “Leilani please just hear me out. I know you’ve been through a lot in your life and in our past relationship but I never forgotten about you my love for you hasn’t and never will fade . I have this to prove it “. It was a ring that Leilani always wanted. Gold with diamonds in it just like her locket and the whole office is watching the story unfold. “Will you be my wife leilani?” Anthony asks . Leilani reminded of the heartache but remembers and always felt the passionate love that never passed over time for Anthony. She quickly replied” yes””I will marry you “ It was an eventful day for leilani because this too was her dream to be married and finally have a child . It seems like her life was completed and all in order. Until Anthony slipped back into his abusive ways towards her physically, she eventually relapsed into her addiction and never became pregnant with child as she always wanted. Chasing after a love that doesn’t love back. Her heart was in his hands and he abused it,literally . Will she bounce back ? Will she receive the love deserved ? Will she stop chasing love ? There’s hope for all when you love yourself.

A Year on Rocky Shores
A great cliché, but a true statement none the less: there's always a guy. For me, it was Keith Kitter. Like most love stories, or at least the good ones, our love started as a hot ember, burning stronger and stoked by every breath. Our first date was one of those nights that seemed to linger on till morning. Our second date was an adventure, driving 5 hours away to go camping on the shores of Cape Cod. Our third date I made dinner, shrimp scampi. After that, you know it was settled. We were each others, or at least, that's what I told myself.
