Iam 195 - Notes on Global Citizenship
Global diplomacy is the future of traditional diplomacy and I believe that if everyone acts as a global diplomat we can advocate for forward thinking ideas like universal basic income and borderless systems that will truly protect citizens in all 195 countries with safe food to eat, safe water to drink, safe air to breathe and give people the right to work by choice and not by force.

Do the Covid-19 restrictions placed on the UK population constitute a violation of basic civil liberties?
The containment of Covid-19 is proving to be one of the toughest challenges facing our generation. The outbreak has prompted the UK government to take urgent action and we've witnessed very stringent measures come in to place in the name of Public Health protection. The freedom to assemble, to congregate in places of worship and even to exercise free speech has been restricted. While UK restrictions may not look illiberal or authoritarian in comparison with other states such as Italy or China who have adopted more severe and intrusive measures, the fact remains that our individual rights, liberties and freedoms have been to some degree compromised, if not entirely suspended (for the time being). The validity of the statement in question depends on whether it can be shown that the State's response was disproportionate to the actual threat; constituting an abuse of its discretionary powers.

Rites of Spring
Signs were all around. Spring was in the air and new days of sunshine were surfacing everywhere. The darkness and agony of the past months were now just that...in the past. The fragrance was coming into the home as it never had before. Leisure time was past as well. The days were few. The workers few for now, but growing. The time for labor was at hand.

Maintaining AQI in Major Cities & Basics of Air Purification
The air surrounds every element of our society, with a proper composition it is around us all the time. However, the air is not always the same, the composition at one place differs from the other. Similarly, it can be different at times on a single day for a single location. Seems pretty tough to understand, but it is just a part of how external particles can affect the basic structure of air. For an instance, the AQI - known as the Air Quality Index defines the daily air quality of a location with respect to time.

We Have A Choice
The ground is stained red with gallons of blood spilled daily. There is a stench of death lurking in the air. With giant blades men tear flesh from bone in an animalistic manner, slicing each piece into long strips of hide and blubber. This is the world of the whaling factory. The carcass of a sperm whale lies on its side as men tear away the blubber to use for oil. The mouth hangs open as if in a last heartfelt scream of agony before death consumed it. On this cold morning, the men are warmed by the heat rising from the carcass as they slice into it. When the cutting is over, the remains are hauled away to be used for such things as dog food.

The Swine of Legion
The pigs were playing, dancing in the rays of new daylight coming through the wood of the old barn they'd always called home. Simeon would be home soon and he was a task master. They'd better get their kicks in before then. Besides, they were tired, from a night spent sucking blood.

Firefly
CRACK! Heavy eyed, the brave girl looks toward the egg. CRUNCH! It moved! Something was happening! She stayed very still, nearly holding her breath as she watched in amazement. Her hand on her laser pointer button, just in case what came out wasn't as excited to see her. SMACK! A piece of glowing shell flew into Kensley's face!

There aren't any sharks in the Public pool.
What am I doing here? I am crazy; I quickly scan the room for all exit options as I hold my breath. I am about to get up as the instructor comes into the room in a whirlwind of apologies for being late and exclaiming how excited she is for this dive. She is about to reach her desk and trips over herself; everything she was hanging onto went flying in all directions. The regret was just magnified by a hundred. I can't bail now, I have come so far, and I didn’t come this far; to only come this far. I buckled down into my seat and waited for the instructions to begin.

Aboriginal Ancestors?
Long, long, long ago there was a time where ancient beasts ruled the green and blue planet of purity and growth, in time these exotic animals of the lands and human collided causing catastrophic consequences. Both thinking the other was the enemy they hunted and slaughtered each other to the point of extinction. The coming of “new men” meant new times were upon us and for the indigenous who lived peacefully with the lands fear ran deep within our veins.
