Olivia
Olivia lived in big gigantic house in the beautiful countryside. It was warm and breezy most of the time but the sun made her happy when it shined upon her. Olivia was just about to turn eleven and the only thing she wanted was a pair of yellow shoes. Fancy ones with a cute little buckle on the side. She had seen them in a department story her mother took her to just yesterday. She had to have them she thought. She asked her mother for them for her birthday party. Mother thought for a long while but finally bought them for her. Olivia was so excited and could not wait to get them home. But what Olivia did not know was that these shoes had magical powers. On the long drive home Olivia imagined playing in the shoes and dancing around her room in them.

Quarantine Activities for 8-10-year olds
As a kid, it was always seemed like we were constantly on the go and if we were home for more than a couple of days, it felt like an eternity. Now, with the world under quarantine, kids and adults everywhere are bored out of their minds.

My daughter, Ola. The cancer, and double organ transplant survivor and disability rights advocate.
I remember it like it was yesterday, though it was over two decades ago. My c-section was scheduled for New Year's Eve. I had a bouncing baby girl that weighed in 8 pounds and 13 ounces. Ola Ojewumi was born a healthy and happy baby. She's brought me so much happiness as a mother. Her father knew she was special and gave her a name in his native tongue of Yoruba, Odunola. Ola for short. In Nigeria, her name means gift from God. My daughter is now all grown up and has lived up to her name.

You Are SENsational
I met my biggest inspiration on a warm Friday in July of 2017. Although we had been connecting for a number of months beforehand, nothing could have prepared me for the wall of emotion I ran into the moment I met her. From only connecting through kicks and butterflies and imagining what she might look like, watching her open her eyes for the first time felt like I had finally been able to open mine for the first time in my life. I lost and gained so much on that day.

Me and this lockdown...
I'm annoying to myself on a good day. On a bad day, I'm downright unbearable. I've been having a lot of bad days as of late. I'm sure I'm not the only but, as you probably guessed by now, I like talking about myself a lot. I'd like to keep that in mind as I continue on telling you all the issues I have going on with me right now. Here we go...

Best Indoor Toys for Kids
Kids need to have their toys to avoid getting bored especially during the times that cannot play outdoors. It is a must that you get them something to play with or you will end up suffering the consequences of not giving them the best kids indoor toys they can play with. There are a few indoor toys that you can choose from. From getting the kids indoor teepees to an indoor trampoline, it's all up to the kids. You can get them toys depending on what they like. However, some toys can be gender-specific. It's best if you can get something that they can play together if you happen to have boys and girls around the house.
