literature
Families and literature go hand in hand; fictional families to entertain, reflect and inspire.

Chapter 16 Sean was "Thugged" out in a hoodie and baggie jeans. Boo-G looked like a "Rough-neck" and was one who frequently engaged in destructive behavior and action. Boo-G, also had a broken "Five Point Star" tattoo on his left hand. Which demonstrated the hatred and animosity for the other rival gangs. Lucinda sat apart from the boys with several other girls. They sat whispering together excitedly about the rumors around school of Big Shorty's encounter with the other gangs.

Chapter 14 "Wake up, Tyrone! It's time for breakfast!", Helena shouted as she nudged her head through the crack of the door while holding her Barbie doll. She stared at her brother for a moment, then slowly back out and walked down the stairs. Big Shorty roused himself out of bed, still feeling the sensation of the throbbing pain from his fresh tattoo. "I'm still high and sure is hungry", cut into his thoughts as he sat on his bed and stretched his arms and legs.

Clouds Over Paradise
My real daddy's name is Jerry. He's been in jail since before I was born. Mama's got a picture of him. His hair's long and brown and blonde like mine, kind of pulled behind his ears, and he's got a little mustache drooping over his lip. His eyes are kind of sleepy and baggy looking. I don't know why he's in jail. Mama says he just went bad one day.

The Lady And Tramp
The Lady And Tramp There was a family that lived in a tiny white house at the end of the block. The Lady of the house's name was Anita. She had a deep grumbly voice that sounded soooo meeeean. But she wasn't. She had a heart of gold and loved all the children that would come to play with her little boy named Tommy. All the neighborhood children loved to come and play in Tommy's yard with him because it was at the end of the street where the woods were. They could play hide and seek and build tree forts. But the children had the most fun playing with Tommy's Golden Retriever named Tramp. Anita named him Tramp because he was so big, and with his blockhead and slow moves he reminded her of a homeless man she knew when she was a child. She adored the man and would always bring him a banana and cookies. But one day the tramp was never seen again and it broke Anita's heart. So in remembrance, Anita called her Golden Retriever Tramp.

Little Jonny Pancake
Little Jonny Pancake By Lawrence T Vose Little Jonny Fender lived with just his mom and would always want to help her cook. Each day he would watch his mom, Anita, at the stove cooking and wanted to help. She started by letting him help put the frosting on the cupcakes and dip the bread in the eggs and cinnamon to make french toast. Anita knew that Jon just wanted to help. So she would always let him do things that she thought would be safe for him to do. But Jon was not always satisfied with what she would allow. So he would get all upset and leave the kitchen. His mom tried so hard to explain to him how hot the stove gets and didn't want him to get burnt.
