The Ultimate Aussie Christmas Feast
Australians celebrate holidays like no other. Chilled wine is constantly poured in and of course, lots of beers. Tables are filled with delectable dishes and everyone is pretty cheerful.

What You (Probably) Don't Know About Pasta
Pasta is something extraordinary! Forget anything you know about it and keep reading. People have always had the wrong assumption that pasta has too many calories and carbs, according to some expert fitness blowhard on Instagram. That you shouldn't include in your diet such an "unhealthy" item but combine high-protein foods into a supposedly "perfect" mix where you stuff your mouth with chicken 5 times a day.

Tacos & Tequila?
Tequila and Tacos? Yes, please! It was a very chilly Monday night in Naples. Well, it was in the fifties, but we all know that is considered cool for South Florida. My Fiancee (Em) and I decided to venture out that night for a bite at a local taco spot, Tacos and Tequila Cantina. I should mention that we both come from Culinary backgrounds, and have been in the foodservice industry for over 30 years combined. So you can imagine that we can be slightly critical when it comes to going out to eat. So we set our expectations to a medium that evening and headed out the door.

Christmas Dinner Ideas
When the stockings have been filled then emptied and after Santa has made his appointed rounds families around the globe begin the preparations (or in some instances continue them) to prepare the family feast that is most often associated with Christmas Dinner. There are many traditions around the world though sadly far too few families have the opportunity to experience some of the rich traditions and delicious foods that mark the Christmas holidays in other corners of the globe, or even across each individual nation.

Perfect Pairing
When you think of the holidays, your mind automatically goes to gingerbread houses, candy cane hot cocoa, and popcorn-cranberry garlands. Christmas is my absolute favorite season for a lot of different reasons. I can tell you about the crystal clear memory I have of watching “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” so many times in a row, I could recite the whole movie verbatim. But that’s not the only reason I love Christmas! I think there is something so calming to see everything covered in a blanket of snow, with all the different types of Christmas lights twinkling, the faint whisper of car tires driving down the street, and White Christmas by The Drifters playing through my car. Don’t get me wrong, I love Bing Crosby’s version and the actual White Christmas movie, but you have to love the baritone/bass from The Drifters… it’s just something else. And just like Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye make a great duo, so does Wonderful Cake and milk.

Two Heads are Better Than One
Reviving something means fixing foundations, making improvements, and breathing new life into it. Great Revivalist Brew Lab in the small midwest town of Geneseo, Illinois, is living up to its lengthy name. They are reviving the idea of pizza and beer in two businesses that had lost hope for numerous reasons - Lionstone Brewing and Great River Brewing. This transition began as a hopeful, optimistic journey that would bring fortune to many people.
