Ridley Me This, Ridley Me That: Ridley Scott's Next Alien Movie Won't Focus On The Xenomorphs
For a story that will have you spitting venom (and acid), it sounds like sci-fi legend Ridley Scott has some controversial plans for his ongoing Alien franchise. After first bringing Xenomorphs to our screens in 1979, the world of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation has gifted us sequels, crossovers, reboots, and prequels, which all led to this year's #AlienCovenant. With Scott back behind the reins once again, the Alien prequel divided critics, thanks mainly to its deviation into religion and evolution.

A 'Bite' Future Ahead Of Us: Did 'Jurassic World' Just Reveal Its New Weaponized Dinosaur?
Its time to do some digging, because it looks like fans of J.A. Bayona's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom have just unearthed some dino-sized news. As the sequel to 2015's Jurassic World, Bayona's film promises to be the biggest "Jurassic" adventure yet. Apart from an all-star cast of old and new faces, we still don't know what to expect, but rumors suggest that we could be introduced to a particularly toothy newcomer when the film is released in June 2018.

Sony Triggers The End Of The World By Bringing To Life The Red Queen From 'Resident Evil'
Reach for a change of panties because #SonyPictures may have just triggered the end of the world. In anticipation of the upcoming #ResidentEvil: The Final Chapter, the studio has created an AI of their homicidal computer the Red Queen. Ever since she said "you're all going to die down here," I knew I never liked that punk-face bitch. Why on Earth anyone would bring to life a bloodthirsty supercomputer is beyond me, but it screams Orwellian disaster waiting to happen. Creepy kids are enough in films, let alone when they are AIs that you then bring to life. It's a big loada "nope" from me!

You're Taking The Kiss: China Cuts Gay Kiss For Censored 'Alien: Covenant'
Nowadays men can hold hands, share apartments, and maybe even sometimes beds *gasp*, so in 2017, you don't expect the issue of sexuality to be much of a problem in cinema. Shows like Game of Thrones thrive on their sexual promiscuity, while Westworld not only gave us a toothy man on man BJ, but a three-minute orgy. Hollywood is packed with gay stars, while Brokeback Mountain is not just remembered for two men getting it on in a tent, but as a damn good film!

Who's Your Daddy: 'The Predator' Star Confirms Major Links To The Original Franchise
Prepare to be hunted, because Shane Black's The Predator is coming for you. Part reboot, part sequel, the dreadlocked dangers are back on our screens for the first standalone film since 2010's Predators. While we aren't expecting Arnold Schwarzenegger to pilot a helicopter in for the film's finale and bellow his infamous "choppa" line, it sounds like #ShaneBlack is at least taking the previous films into account.

'Write' Place, Wrong Film: 'Prometheus' Writer Knows Where the Alien Films Could Go Next
When #RidleyScott's Prometheus entered the uncharted territory of an #Alien prequel, hopes were high for a faithful continuation of the horror franchise's legacy. However, even an all-star cast and a fleshed-out script from Lost's #DamonLindelof couldn't save the 2012 film from mediocrity.

Great Scott, it is finally time to wake up from cryo-sleep and face our biggest fears once more! As #RidleyScott returns to the #Alien franchise after 2012's Prometheus, many are questioning whether the grandfather of the Xenomorph can still Reebok stomp the competition when it comes to #scifi #horror with his latest venture, #AlienCovenant.

We're Clover The Moon: Is J.J. Abrams's Next Cloverfield Film About Zombie Nazis?
Everywhere you turn nowadays you can't move for zombie movies, zombie TV shows, and Greg Nicotero filling your Instagram feed. Well, gore-fans can rejoice because a very exciting zombie project is just on the horizon, but try not to get too "Cloverexcited."

A Director With 'Bite': Why David Fincher Is The One To Save 'World War Z 2' From The Apocalypse!
Don't be tooling up for another round with Brad Pitt and zombies just yet, fans, because Paramount Pictures has thrown a spanner in the works for the hotly anticipated World War Z sequel. With Paramount pulling the sequel from its 2017 schedule, and with no further release date, it looks like someone has administered an anti-virus to the project; however, with the film seemingly facing extinction, could there be a director in shining armor here to help? Following the first film's release in 2013, World War Z 2 has been "plagued" with problems, but don't get yourself in a pandemic just yet, reports are swirling that Se7en's #DavidFincher is "very creatively interested in directing the movie,” leaving the ball in #Paramount's court. Your serve, Hollywood!

Weaver Fever: Sigourney Weaver Finally Returns As Ellen Ripley In 'Alien' Spoof
Can you believe it? It has been 20 years since 20th Century Fox saddled up the crew of the Betty for an acid bath and we waved goodbye to #SigourneyWeaver's iconic #EllenRipley for Alien: Resurrection.
