THE HISTORY OF THE OGBA PEOPLE
Ogba history is replete with activities and events pioneered by great individuals. These personalities have, through their physical and mental powers changed the course of history. Consciously or not, they have been able to leave their footprints in the sand of time. Unfortunately, some of these great deeds have slipped into oblivion. Basic reasons account for this sad development. ...staying within the realm of oral tradition for a very long time before being documented. This has resulted in distortion of facts. Ogba, as a nation is less than 600 years old but the imprecision in its history is overwhelming. The loosed or inaccurate account of events have resulted in the noticeable cracks we find on the body of Ogba tribe today. However, Ogba historians must continue to objectively dig into the past with the view to finding the missing links.
