Learning to Live With Loving Someone You Can't Be With
One day I hope and pray I meet someone who makes me realise and proves to me I did the right thing in walking away. I spent 16 months of my life with someone I fell in love with. I never told him I fell in love with him, because at the time, I wasn't sure what being 'in love' felt like...it wasn't till we broke up I realised. And then when I tried to tell him, he told me it was 'bull****', that hurt. I'd never had a long term relationship before and now I'm not sure I ever want one again. I never realised how much breaking up from a long term partner would affect me mentally, emotionally and physically.

Judging Through "White Eyes"
Let me start with this... I am an American Black male and I have been all of my life. Now that that is out of the way I'll continue with my rant. It's not fair! It's not fair and I don't know who is at fault! Is it my own psyche or insecurities? Is my dismay and anger justified because my feelings are a result of self-hate born from oppression? My lack of clarity only adds to my angst, confusion, and frustration. Many American Black people, so I have been told, view the world and the interactions within through "white eyes." It's an utter curse that causes the afflicted to become judgmental, condescending, and negative about the other Black folks.

First Love?
Hello all! Well I’m aware that this type of story has probably been shared many times but I feel that my story could help young girls and older learn a little bit about relationships from my experience. I want to share my whole journey with you guys (in separate parts) to enlighten others on what a toxic relationship can result in. This story is about my first and only relationship so far and how my inexperience brought me a lot of unneeded pain. What can make this story unique is that we broke up FIVE TIMES. Do Labels Matter?
This is somewhat of a follow-up piece to the other story/article I wrote called "Not Knowing Who I Am." I've identified as straight, bisexual, and lesbian throughout my life. Each time I "came out," I would question if I really was 100% gay or bi. I didn't really think much of it until I started my first year at college. I had identified as lesbian for about a year and had tons of support from friends and family. Then college came along and I was set on staying gay.

Crazy Becomes Crazier
Ever since the third grade, I always imagined myself living in a big house with a room filled with books. All of the books would be hardcovers and will be set in alphabetical order and will be perfectly set on each shelf, but the best part was, each book would be written by me. Now that I think about it, it's more of a crazy dream of mine. My dreams have never been simple and I'm pretty sure half of them are impossible; yet that will not stop me from completing them one way or another. With all these crazy dreams of mine, there are two things that I never dreamt about: being a wife or a mother.
