It’s a Love Story I Never Thought I’d Be Living
When we were kids, life was difficult for both of us. Oddly enough, we both thought about death. Things going on in our lives were difficult for us to manage, and being teens just made it harder. A chance meeting and everything changed for us. I was working a summer job at the library, and he just moved there. Where I worked at and where he lived was within walking distance. He needed to use the computer and I was at the front desk to offer assistance.

A Folder Called 'A Promise'
There is a folder on my computer that I dreaded opening. I avoided eye contact with it like one does when you see an old acquaintance at the grocery store, and take great strides to steer clear of them, acting as if you were too preoccupied reading the ingredients on the box of macaroni shells to pay them any attention. Or how one refrains from verifying the available balance in your checking account after a frivolous weekend.

The Purple Box (Ch. 1)
I got up early the morning of August 2nd, 2014. Far earlier than normal. I immediately got out of bed and got dressed. I felt the need to grab my camera and take pictures of the inside and outside of the house before I set off for my new life in Indiana. I found myself documenting every nook and cranny of the house, as it was on the day I would leave. Inside every room, every hallway, out in the garage, and then every angle of the exterior and yard outside.

Love, Love, Love
It’s hard to fathom that there was once a time where a man would sweep a woman off her feet. He would wait to call her, open doors for her, take care of her. He would court her, spending hours planning, talking, dedicating to her. He would think of her as he’s out with his friends, sitting bored at work, or even going for a run. There once was a time where chivalry was the norm.

Stories from My Youth Pt. 1
... Do you remember? ... The first time I saw you .... I didn’t know what love was Back when I was younger, I never considered love to be in my realm of possibility. I was always the DUFF. Always the matchmaker, never to be matched. It’s a feeling i’m sure many of us know too well.

Cheat on Me Once, It's Over
I do not condone cheating in any way, but frankly I'm a bit confused as to why a lot of people do not forgive a person for cheating, just once. Look, it wasn’t right to cheat in the first place and I understand that. I have never been cheated on, or cheated on someone, I do not have an experience in this area, but it’s something that happens to a lot of people and is sadly a common topic. Because I do not know what it feels like to be cheated on or to cheat on someone, all I’m trying to do here is lay out a few things I've heard about cheating and to better understand this whole idea of cheating and what comes with it.
