marriage
Marriage is not so much a word as it is a sentence–a life sentence.
Just Follow The Instructions to Get Him to Marry You!
We're not talking about a business transaction here, but about accepting an offer from a cherished man and converting it into a real wedding date. Some women will argue that this is a lot more arduous process than a major corporate deal. Of course, "rules" can make things a lot easier.

My parents asked me to marry another guy knowing about my serious relationship
I started dating my partner one and a half years ago. Ever since I have met him I was sure that he is going to be the man I want to marry in the future. We lived together in a city away from home working on our daily jobs and stuff. Our life was normal until the pandemic.

The First Step
Here I am, sitting in a waiting room that reeks of sweat and tears and a room freshener that isn't quite up to par. I wonder if this is just a feeble attempt at prolonging the inevitable. Do I even want to 'save my marriage?' My husband says I'm not the girl I used to be. No shit! I'm thinking half the problem is you are still the 'boy' I married. I hope the shrink's office isn't as dismal as this waiting area. It's all new ground for me. I've always kept to myself. The old adage 'kids are to be seen, not heard' followed me into adulthood. It's hard to fight a message so soundly delivered with a father's belt.

Old Barn at Midnight
The old barn looms like an apparition at the end of the dusty road knotting her stomach even tighter as she walks shrouded from the summer moonlight. “Meet me at the old barn at midnight,” the text had said, flashing across her husband’s phone only 2 hours earlier as she slid his work polo on a hanger wondering why her husband’s secretary, two years shy from being half his age, was texting him at this hour. She stood in the bedroom they had shared for the past eight years, one hand on the hanger, the other on his collar, still as a statue, as if one movement would open the gates of hurt to flood in until from the next room she heard the shower turn off. Spell now broken; she resolved to keep her feelings tucked inside, not letting anything give away the fact that she saw the incriminating text.

A word of mouth
It started one day, the Big Day was finally to come true. A big celebration where two souls seal a deal that will last for ever, no matter if rains or snows, still keep us together. Like a strong maple tree, will never ever fall if they have strong roots. Love and understanding are the ingredients reat for a great marriage. Also with that comes a great food balanced diet. We never considered ourselves totally fit, but we tried.

After a Lifetime of Loneliness
After a Lifetime of Loneliness, I Found Love When I Quit Looking I went to high school with you, not me, but a guy like me. A big klutzy guy who was the poster boy for social awkwardness. I grew out of the zits, but my self-esteem didn't grow at all.

Save Your Marriage by Fixing the Core Problems
So, how to save my marriage without talking about it? This is a common question among married couples who are having difficulties. Yes, work is to assist couples divorce peacefully and it is not a role to offer marriage counselings and help a couple to find a solution on how to save my marriage. However, marital mediation is only applicable when both parties are on board with the decision to end the marriage peacefully. However, if one of you wishes to end your marital relationship but the other desperately wants to know how to save my marriage on the verge of divorce, then discussing things will be productive for both of you.

So You Want To Get Married?
Marriage is one of the oldest institutions known to man. It has stood the test of time since it's inception. If you listen to the societal views or opinions on marriage, you will probably hear it from either of two people; someone who rolled the dice, got married and crapped out, who now spits on the grave of their decayed union. Whose face gives way to a sour expression, that slowly moves across their face at the mention of the word 'marriage.'

Which Partner Gets the Final Say in a Conflict About Money?
If you’ve been in a serious relationship, I’m sure you’ve experienced a conflict about spending money. And I’m not talking about the mammoths like buying a house. Those decisions are a different beast entirely. If you don’t have the money, the decision is made for you automatically.

Artistic Solace
The modern concept of, "me time" hasn't been something I've been able to fully perfect, let alone practice much of. Spending time working on hobbies, honing in on crafts, or even creating for creation's sake has always been something that I do for others. Ask me how many self-portraits I have, and I'll tell you I created one during a state of depression after feeling very alone and abandoned. Not being able to create for anyone else, I made something of my own, for my own. It never felt natural, and it didn't fulfill me.

Our Highway Town
This is how everything started. This is when I realized how much I needed to leave. On the big yellow bus labeled “14”, driving all of these lonely kids down these lonely streets. I realized too quickly, the roaring silence of this town, it was the loudest silence I had ever heard. All of the older, broken kids called this place worthless, a highway town. “Highway Town.” Two words that left me staring into the empty abyss that were my thoughts.
