Whether you're solitary by choice or simply unlucky in love, being single is complicated.
How To Enjoy Being Single In A Couple S World
It's sometimes easy to forget how great the single life can be when you're surrounded by loved-up couples and fending off your mum's clumsy attempts at matchmaking. What's the problem with being single? Nothing, of course - except that sometimes the sight of your coupled-up friends all over each other, or a stranger holding hands with her boyfriend in the street, can make you suffer a sudden attack of single panic - the feeling that you're alone in a world of twosomes. But don't despair, you just need a dash of single-survival therapy.

Tales of a Bachelor
Flying rags and waving leaves, all roofs are already perfectly polished brown with specks of dust as Christmas steps in and gradually walking out of the stage with her unruly old friend-the wind. It was an unprecedented Sunday morning, my whole being could not concentrate as the wind-tossed unceasingly from the western cardinal of my contingent condominium on one remarkable day of Christmas. I stood up from my horrible bed feeling so worn out, it was a strange one anyway. I went outside and began walking around my house, but could hear only the quacking and cackling of mocking birds, I was still about to realize that I was the only one in a whole compound that could make an independent community.

To My Exes
This is a message to all the exes that did me wrong. Dear Ex, Do you miss me? Or do you miss the intimacy between us? Did you really love me? Or was that your way of getting in my pants? Do you miss me? Or do you miss having someone to control and manipulate?

Pure Blue
I lie in bed waiting for him to get out of the shower, my wrists crossed above my head, one knee drawn up and out to the side with the other leg straight down like a flamingo sometimes stands. The comforter is pulled mostly over me with only my hands and the one naked knee poking out. I probably look like the victim of some heinous crime, but it's warm under here, and I'm only thinking.

It started cracking. At first little by little and then there was a big hammer. Her usual routine was this - escape before all the shattered pieces fell to the ground.

Blue Heart Adventure
Today started like any other day. I woke up got dressed, ate, when to the bathroom and got ready to leave the house. It was a beautiful sunny June day in my northern rural community. It was so nice out I decided to walk the 5 blocks to work instead of drive. As I strolled down my road I found myself lost in thought and staring at my feet, when suddenly something blue caught my eye. I stopped and stared at what I first thought was a piece of rubbish on the road. It looked like it had been folded. As I inspected I realized I was looking at an origami paper heart. I picked it up and admired the craftsmanship, and found myself feeling a desire to learn origami. As I flipped it over in my hands a compartment opened showing another folded paper, this one was white. When I unfolded it, two stickers were looking back at me. One smiley face and one of Frodo Baggins. I stared puzzled, what could that mean? How strange I thought. Shrugging it off I continued on my way to work. When I arrived I continuously

Table for one
With the afternoon light through flooding through the windows, Madison reluctantly opened her eyes to acknowledge the day. With a groan and a somewhat more hungover than usual feeling, she was more disappointed than surprised to see where she had ended up. If she wasn’t awake before, she was now, as she adjusted her eyes to the unfamiliar surroundings, with the only thing familiar to her being an empty bottle of her favourite red wine, Merlot, on the bedside table.
