The Therapeutic Evolution of Recreation During the Pandemic
The therapy of recreation is not new and something we can do ourselves. I am here to tell you so. Let’s face it, the pandemic is not over. No matter what the changing daily headlines say the numbers speak for themselves. Not a plateau in sight currently. The encouragement is always there to stay at home if you can, work from home if at all possible, so those that can are. I Forgive You, Dad
I had a difficult relationship with my father, but not for same reason as other kids. I was not a rebellious rule-breaker and he was not overly strict or neglectful. He did not abuse me or my mother. I Think I'm Outgrowing My Friends
Picture this: you're out with two of your friends that you've known back in college for nearly a decade. The three of you are in your mid-twenties. You're eating at a restaurant. They offer delectable brown bread and butter for free that comes before appetizers and/or your main meal. The three of you are going out to celebrate one of your friend's recent success of picking up a "big boy job" after working two years in retail. You're all in high spirits, ready to enjoy a 1000-plus-calorie meal. It's good vibes all around.

Now, You’re Speaking My Language
Did you know love had a language? I had no idea it spoke anything other than butterflies in the stomach, flutters in the heart, & sometimes tears in the eyes. Turns out, love has multiple languages, & just like others—it has to be learned because everyone speaks it differently.
