I Used to Ignore Email Completely—Until It Changed How I Connect With People. AI-Generated.
It was the place receipts landed, reminders piled up, and unread messages quietly waited their turn. I never thought of it as a meaningful way to connect with people. When conversations shifted to faster platforms and instant updates, email seemed slow and impersonal by comparison.

How I Think About Software Quality Beyond Features and Delivery Dates. AI-Generated.
When I look at any software product, I don’t begin by counting features or reviewing specifications. Features explain what a system is capable of doing, but they don’t explain how reliably it performs those actions in real conditions. I focus more on behavior—how the software responds when users interact with it repeatedly, differently, and sometimes imperfectly.

Fire Extinguisher Inspections: Small Checks That Make a Big Difference
Fire safety is usually based on preparations that are undertaken many days or hours before the emergency arises. Alarms, evacuations plans, and training are given emphasis but in most cases, once fire extinguishers are installed they are ignored. Most individuals think that it is sufficient to have an extinguisher. As a matter of fact, it is routine checks that make sure this vital safety gadget is functioning properly at the time when it is required the most.

Italian Cuisine, Leadership, and the Evolution of Resort Dining
Italian cuisine has always travelled well. Long before it became fashionable to talk about global dining concepts, Italian food was already adapting, changing, and quietly finding its place far from home.

How to Decide If Drupal Is the Right Platform for Your Website?. AI-Generated.
I still remember the first time someone asked me that question without meaning to. It wasn’t framed as a platform debate. It came out as a pause in a late afternoon call, the kind where both sides are a little tired but still honest. The website worked, technically speaking. Pages loaded. Content published. Still, the person on the other end sounded unsure, like they were carrying more friction than they could name.

A List Taller than My Capabilities...
Today was a Sunday without my kids and typically I try to get a lot done, but today I slept - a lot. I didn't wake up until 9am. Stayed up until almost 10am in order to talk to my kids, and then slept until after 11am.

So I've Tried Candle-Making...
You have probably witnessed my baking on Facebook and in the 'Feast' tab. You have probably seen my book reviews and from time to time, my movie reviews. You have witnessed my poor attempts at poetry and my weirdly fragmented fictions. Now, witness my strangest side-quest: candle-making. I'm not sure why I took this up but it's warming and there's nice smells going on - like when I bake. So you can probably tell why I like doing these things. I've still got some stuff planned for 2026 and this is probably going to be one of them. Just short articles here and there, no real schedule, talking about how I made a particular candle. I want to desperately continue with this and hopefully, somewhere down the line I want to start selling them. I don't know how I'm going to go about that yet but you've heard it here first.

Power and Resistance: Structures that endure attack, time, and change
Every structure is first designed to act. Later, it is designed to endure. In the early stages of institutional life, the central concern is control: who decides, who executes, who benefits. As institutions mature, this concern shifts toward influence: how decisions are shaped before they are formally taken, how outcomes are guided without overt command.
