Chronicles of Lockdown
It’s no secret that we’ve all had various struggles this year (without mentioning the C word), and we have all had our own ways of navigating. Here in Melbourne, we have endured some of the toughest lockdown restrictions worldwide and in many ways, we will emerge better equipped from this. We’re still locked up in our homes and it has become kinda normal, as has the fashionable matching masks we have to wear or we are slapped with a monetary fine.

GETTING YOUR LIFE BACK ON TRACK
Have you ever had that epiphony moment? That moment when you're in bed, in a bus, cooking dinner, or most likely, sitting on the toilet and realise "damn I really need to get my sh*t together". Well, I've been having that all the time. But the problem is where do you start when trying to 'reset' your life? As a student, I usually always turn to studying and working; as an athlete, I try finding consistency with working out; as a human, I focus on my health and relationship with family and friends.

All humans hold a super power to shape their lives exactly how they want it.
I begin this path of creating a voice for my readers. To stir up the soul we so many times quiet. And, I find this amazing because when we speak of our experiences and CHOICES. We seem to say, the heart and mind don't ever match up. Therefore, we question our decisions. We seem to silence the part that has engrained knowledge. The term "Old Soul", that truly, is in all of us. As, though there is knowledge of something within before our brain catches up. So, why are we choosing to ignore this? Why are we choosing anything without realizing, we have total control of OUR choices. Wow, isn't that so powerful? The only thing we can control as humans, is OUR choices. We cannot control other humans, but, can completely shape and form our life exactly how we want it, based on our choices. This is not a, "How To" or easy tips to hone in on this powerful gift. It is just your wake up call.

Hesitation
I have indulged myself into a lot of hesitation recently, to the point that it has become a habit of avoidance. And you all know too well what it would lead one to, a rabbit hole of excuses. An adequate amount of rest is essential for one’s survival, however, an excessive amount of rest would turn into a drug that prevent you from moving forward. I know that this year has been excruciatingly difficult for the type of growth that we are all accustomed to, but despite all the fuss around feeling limited and trapped, it could also be viewed as a year of inner growth.

What's on the Other Side of This?
We all know what happens when we quit. We fall short, we lose, we fail. The answer is right there in front of us when we quit. We know exactly what's going to happen. Today, I want to talk about what happens when we decide to keep going. When we decide to push through our present struggles and see the bigger picture.

POTENTIAL
Hey guys! I decided to do a blog🖥️✍🏾🖊️ on "Potential" this time because it’s crazy how many of us have this “power” 💪🏾💡(and I say power because it’s something we hardly use that is very useful )that we don’t use and rarely think about sometimes. I do not know about y’all but sometimes I do ask myself do I even have potential? 🧐🤔And how come I don’t see it in myself or use it?🤔🤔🧐 And I’m not going to lie because half the time I’m lazy and don’t want to push myself but in times like these, it’s crazy because I’m using every piece of it.😂😆 Growing up for me, starting in middle school I was told that I have the potential I just have to use it. I always thought it was just something teachers say but it followed me all the way to high school because teachers were saying the same thing there too.😮😲 It was weird, I flew through high school not paying attention to that but kept it close to me all these years.😯😱 I realized my potential, when I realized I wanted to own my own business and the thoughts 💭💭and ideas that popped up where endless. 💲🤝📊🏢

Completely Unsatisfied
I always had big plans for my life, as I'm sure everyone does. I wanted to be the CEO of a company by the time I was 25 and have all my debts paid off. I figured I would be jet-setting around the world and enjoying a healthy financial 20's. I know I know it sounds laughable to say the least, and in fact none of that happened, and I'm already 23.

Tie a Knot in it and Keep Climbing
Tie a knot in it and keep climbing By Travis Ray Patton There was a person that went rock climbing alone. Their name or gender isn't important, but for the sake of simplicity we'll say "Kim". The rock formation Kim had in mind was an expressively treacherous and rugged one. It was filled with ridged edges and deep unexpected curves that would make even the most experienced climber become wary, and take every precaution necessary climbing it.

The unbridled joy of being yourself
Whilst I was in the bath, I was listening to a really interesting podcast on celebrating failure, hosted by the writer Elizabeth Day. And it got me thinking about how we see failure as a dirty word, and how quick society can be to judge what they perceive to be failings; a failed marriage, a failed career path. But why are things deemed failures when life is such an ongoing journey?

How Constraints and Limitations Boost Creativity.
In May 1954, Life Magazine published an article on literacy, which reported that children were not learning to read - because most of the books they were reading were boring and didn’t hold their attention. At Houghton Mifflin (now Houghton Mifflin Harcourt) William Spaulding read the article and put together a list of 348 words that he felt were imperative for first-graders to know and be able to read. He went to Theodor Seuss Geise - better known as Dr. Seuss, cut the words down to 250, and challenged Geisel to write a book using only those words. “Bring back a book that children can’t put down” was his directive.. The result was “The Cat in the Hat”.. Geisel used only 236 words, and the book has become one of the best-selling children’s books of alll time.
