This Uber Driver changed my perception
I was sitting tight in line for a ride at the air terminal. At the point when a Uber taxi pulled up, the primary thing I saw was that the man was cleaned to a splendid sparkle. Sprucely wearing a shirt, dark tie, and newly squeezed dark pants. The Uber taxi driver leapt out and adjusted the vehicle to open the back traveler entryway for me.

21 Years Of Success
I always thought that having success in something means you have to make money in something. I didn’t realize until my Junior year of college that I was so wrong. At the age of 19 I picked up the skill of writing poetry. Words just followed out of me. Next thing you know I had a whole book. I didn’t publish this book until this summer; nine months after I published my first book. I was scared that it wasn’t going to make me money. Even though I may had been right about that ...a part of me was still happy. Why? Because I realize most people my age don’t have Two books published! That’s what is success to me! Achieving a goal! My goal wasn’t to make money, but to see if I can achieve a dream of becoming a published author. I found a way how to achieve this dream. That within itself is success to me. The moral of the story is don’t look for success in money, instead look for success in what you have achieved!

Finding New Hobbies
So, this week I discovered two things that are worlds in and of themselves and communities that a lot of people may not even know exist in the online world. It all started while shopping at everyone’s favorite store...Wal-Mart. It just so happened that on this particular day, I had to drive to two different Wal-Mart stores because apparently during self-isolation, everyone on the planet discovered what a freakin’ bike is and decided they couldn’t live without one! I needed to buy a bike because I am going off to college in a couple of weeks and that would literally be my only means of transportation in my little college town.

Accepting Defeat
We all have encountered an defeat in our lives. It could be losing a high school state championship game or as simple as being rejected by somebody that you like. Those defeats will sting, and some of them may sting more then others. But the great thing about life is, as long as you are still breathing there is an opportunity to pick yourself up and try again. If we are victorious in everything we do in life we will not be able to learn from the mistakes that are made in it. Even through defeat there is a lesson to be learned from that scenario. Everybody successful have taken an loss, the difference is those people took that loss and bettered themselves with it.

THE DREAM
The moon was starting to fade away but its light, after being reflected by every molecule of the crystal-clear river water, lit up the shore. Little glimmers of red light could be seen as it was the time of dawn. As the cool breeze was blowing it gently lifted up the girl's hair as she watched the boatman paddling across the river. She has always been there, far away from the fast, busy and buzzing city life. That small village was her paradise her world. Those mountains had limited her view but not her heart.

Daily Dose Of Inspiration. Living Your Dreams.
We've all been there. That day you had was overwhelming or the week or even the year has been something that you never want to experience again. People can let you down, and that can take a toll as well as jobs or financial difficulties that seem like they're never going to turn around. Whatever your situation may be, never lose hope. So many things can happen in just one day.

My Dream to Be An Entertainer
I’ve always dreamt of becoming a big star. When I was 3, I was always told I was so talented and recognized for it. I can sing,I can dance,I can act. All 3 in 1. And,I don’t know. It’s something about being in the spotlight onstage just makes me feel like I’m at home. Bright lights, big crowds, cheering, yelling and screaming. It just makes me so excited! Singing my favorite songs both written and not written by me. When I think about it, I just feel like it’s where I’m meant to be. To be a big singer seeing her name all over the world at every concert and all the marquees she comes across. I know, sounds typical, right? But,what I would make different about beinf famous is that, yeah I’d be making a lot,but that’s not what I’m in it for. It’s about enjoying my passion and wanting to get up every morning to it. No dreading, just up and ready to go to work everyday, even if it takes hours and hours of accomplishment. It looks like a lot of hard work,I’m not gonna lie. I just look at some of the celebrities and sometimes I wonder how they do it and how they manage, especially with all the paparazzi involved everyday. Makes me exhausted for them just looking at them. 😂 I comend them for it all, though. I mean,if they didn’t go through all of that, they wouldn’t be some of the best in all the entertainment universe. But,at the same time,it all looks so exciting. Wearing your own outfits, rocking the latest Gucci and Dolce & Gabanna or maybe Louis Vuitton and doing favorite performances everyone loves, including biggest fans. And everybody loving you in every moment of it. Even if they don’t love you in real life. But,me,as I got older,I don’t think I can handle all of the crazy paparazzi, and beef with a singer I don’t even know and all the exhaustion and stress from trying to get everything to perfection before the day of my performances. Which is why i decided to do a YouTube channel instead. It’s more beneficial for me anyways I can make a video whenever I want to without the extra stuff. I like to treat it as my own little business I own. I can go to work whenever I want to, I control the time I spend it and I can make sure it’s perfect,I can make how many I need to to find the perfect one. One that I know will be the big seller. In views and likes, that is. The biggest and the best thing of them all, I CAN DO IT AT HOME!!!☺️☺️ I have aaaaaaaall the freedom I want too. Sounds awesome, don’t it? No hassle,no worry about being late. Just making songs, recording and re-recording all on your own terms. Never would’ve thought I’d be perform entertainment in my own home (no thanks to the COVID). And I gotta say. I REAAAAAAALLY enjoy it. Never thought I would ever say that ever. In fact,I never thought of doing my own thing in the media. I thought about having my own channels and all in the past, but I was always discouraged by some of my family. But now,I’m seeing the results and the progress I’m doing....and this is definitely something I can say I look forward to waking up to every morning (sometimes I check it immediately after I get up). And the only thing that stood between making my own videos on YouTube and enjoying watching and making the progress and process was discouragement, worry and fear. Never let that come between you and your dreams. If you want something, you go get it. It’ll take some sacrifice and a lot of hard work to get there, but always tell yourself you can do it. That you can have and live that dream. And as long as you see the progress getting better and better even after all the times you fall down, and you’re happy with how it’s going, then keep on. Keep up the good work and keep working hard. You’ll get there. Before I leave, there’s something else. To those reading this right now and to those who still use YouTube, feel free to check out my channel as well. It’s called Shania Thompson. Thank you guys so so much. ☺️

Save Me, President Jesus, I'm Bored In The USA
Through no fault of our own, every American (indeed, everyone world-wide) is in detention. For the first couple months, it was great. We could sleep in, eat whenever we wanted, laze in a hot bubble bath, and watch TV until we went into a coma. Good times.

Follow Dreams.
In my last two years of high school I had to decide what my future would hold... I have always had the dream of becoming a plastic or foetal surgeon - studying medicine. I was ready, determined and down for anything the path to it would bring or so I thought. From one day to another the insecurities came in, I started to doubt whether I could do it, I would tell myself I would not be able to deal with the pressure and I went with all the negative thoughts and my dream of becoming a surgeon fell into the cracks.
