goals
Understanding your goals to help you achieve them.
You do not need to have your life figured out yet
I have always had this preconceived notion that by the time I finished college I would have my life figured out. To be honest, the more I continue my schooling, the more confused I get with what I want to do in this life. I know what I want my end goal to be but how fast do I need to get there?

10 things I promise myself in 2020, inspired by harry styles
2019 was probably the hardest year I’ve lived through in a long time, not going to lie. I learned a lot about myself. I learned that I could be taken down by something as simple as a sentence. I learned that I could have the courage to admit that I wasn’t okay. I learned that people are temporary, and no matter how much you wish them into permanence, it doesn’t always work out that way. But undoubtedly, the most important lesson I learned was that home could be a person, and I found that home in a young man from Holmes Chapel, England, named Harry Styles.

Dreamer
I am in the business of dreaming and supporting dreamers. I recently graduated college and post grad life is something really unexpected. You now have all this time and it's the rest of your life. You have to figure out how you will live it and spend all the time of your days and it is a bit unsettling but there’s also freedom in that. This has been a challenge for me the past few months but I think it was due to my point of view. I didn’t see the freedom of a blank schedule, I saw uncertainty. Uncertainty of what I wanted to do with my life, of what would make me happy. I successfully got a great job but it was not what I wanted to do, to be. So I left after a few weeks. Why be somewhere that you know won’t fulfill you?

America First?
The American Dream is dead! There, I said it, but it's true. That dream of pulling yourself up by the bootstraps and making yourself unbelievably rich can still happen, but the foundation of this nation, the way it was formed and made through immigrants fleeing their countries to find their freedom and safety, is dead. Immigrants take the brunt of the blame for so many problems facing the lower class of the nation.

tired eyes.
I often feel judged by other people, but most of all by myself. As a kid, I picked myself apart; I may still be overwhelmingly self-critical. I want to devote myself to a sacred calling and a purpose that I believe in, but often I feel blocked and unable to do so. Or when I do accomplish something, it doesn’t feel like it’s enough. Even if I do everything right and exceed expectations, I often can’t enjoy it.

How Bad Do You Want It
That’s what I ask myself every single morning, “How bad do you want it!?” When I take out my planner and start asking myself the right questions, I am able to have more clarity in my life. More clarity of what goals I want to achieve and how to achieve them.

Organize And Downsize
Locked Up - They Won’t Let Me Out As we hear news in Richmond, VA that the city will be on lockdown until at least May 28th, 2020, some may feel discouraged. We may be forced to consider the fact that this date could be pushed back yet again. Whatever the reason, there’s no denying that people are eager to partake in activities outside of the home.

Quick Dirty and Wrong
Quick Dirty and Wrong For a long time I have wanted to start writing, not to write a book but to see what it does to my thought’s. According to people smarter than me writing is a form of thinking. A lot of people talk about the benefits of writing to clear the mind and even inspire new ideas and bolster creativity. I tend to have a messy and unstructured mind so I am interested to see what regular writing does to change this.
