Happiness & Love
I feel like it is important to remember that what makes us happy is what will derive us to our final ultimate destination. These are the things that will bring happiness to our hearts. It is vital to continue to fill our spirit up with the most important medicine of all, that is happiness and love.

Self-discovery
Life can get very complicated if you are not responsible for your actions. The most important thing of all are the choices we make. The choices we make are the actions of our true intentions. Consequences are the result of our choices, good or bad. istakes are made but the difference of whether we overcome our assigned obstacles in life is whether or not we learn and grow from them. Growth is the ultimate outcome that we must strive for to become the best version of our true selves.

Fighting the Bully Within
We hear about bullies in school taking advantage of kids who are smaller than them. I have come to believe that we have our own bullies in our minds. The bully that tells us we are not good enough, smart enough, pretty enough, that we are losers. The bully that pushes you around and does not allow for you to become the best you. We constantly give into this direction because is the easy way out. But what we really need to do is fight the bully. We have to fight against these demons and know that we are smart and capable of anything we put our minds to.

WHY I CHOSE HAPPINESS
Sometimes the journey to happiness comes with various challenges that you have to overcome in order to attain that joy and peace of mind. Happiness doesn't have to be a struggle, its free and all you have to do is to use it the right way .I know sometimes it’s hard to find joy in the midst of everything wrong going on. When things are not going as planned and you are at a point of total frustration, confusion, anger and sadness, there are only two choices left which is to still find joy or let that anger and frustration defeat you (in simple words, happiness or sadness, positive or negative thoughts). You don't have to let those challenges weigh you down, instead fill your mind with good things, positive things and let your heart be at rest knowing that something good will come out of those challenges.

CLOCK OF LIFE
"For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again."

What is beauty?
Nowadays people are so into image and body shaming it's getting a little ridiculous. The other day my daughter comes home with tears in her eyes stating that she was called ugly. Now mind you my daughter is thirteen so she has heard a lot of mean comments that happen in middle school, however she is not normally the one receiving them. We did just move to a smaller city. Which might have a bit to do with it. However when I asked her she said “Momma because I wear glasses, I am a four eyed freak and I am too fat!”

A Conversation with the Sun
I have this on and off relationship with the sun that’s been going on for quite some time now, and I can’t seem to understand why. Every day we meet at the same spot, the rooftop of an 18-floor apartment building, and we talk about many things ranging from daily quandaries of life to bigger dilemmas beyond my control. Sometimes we don’t even talk at all and just enjoy the moment in silence. This relationship could go on for a couple of days, but then one day I come to the same spot, at the same time, waiting, and she doesn’t show. Needless to say, I tend to get upset when she does this, even more upset because this could continue for days and I don’t know when she might come back. She leaves without a warning; no letter, nothing. I am at my worst these days.
