wild animals
Animals the way nature intended it; explore the world of wild animals and the controversies surrounding domestication and hunting of feral beasts.
Breaking the Reputation
There are so many different hobbies all around the world. I love learning new things and experiencing things through the eyes of someone else. I have many hobbies, but the hobby that means the most is wolf and wolf-dog advocacy. Wolves get a pretty bad reputation in general due to the lack of information provided, even though wildlife conservationists have been diligent about stopping the bias. One of the most important parts of my life and these animals lives. Wolf dogs are very controversial and even illegal in some states in the U.S. including some countries around the world. I think if I were to pass up an opportunity to advocate for these animals to any audience, it would go against the point of advocacy. Wolves played a major role in the creation of wolf dogs, but they are different animals.

Dolphins
There are a few types of dolphins that can be kept at sporting offices like SeaWorld, otherwise called dolphins. The most widely recognized kind of dolphin in bondage is the bottlenose dolphin [60], and there are likewise dangerous whales in imprisonment. Dolphins are included for nothing in books, motion pictures, and film series.

A Fawn Named June
A Baby Named June We woke up at sunrise on June 1st, and carried our coffee out to the back porch, ready to settle into our chairs and enjoy that special time of day. I find dawn and dusk to be so magical, and our remote property often gifts us with glimpses of wildlife

The Mighty Feline
Sweat glistens off the fur of the fierce predator, the midday sun beating down, relentless and unforgiving. The heat being more than enough to make most creatures reside in the shade or somewhere hidden from the sun's beams, few things would be motivation enough to make anything venture out into its wrath; but hunger is one of the best motivators.

Kezia
Tucked in the crook of the uniformed arm of the Air Canada commercial pilot, was a tiny bundle. Descending the stairs from the cockpit gingerly he made it apparent that his cargo was precious.. Scanning the sparse crowd in the waiting area of the small town airport shelter he picked out the well dressed couple standing off by themselves. The woman wore a stylish cloche hat over her freshly styled bouffant accompanied by a red tailored coat. Her companion, though not as flashy, was dressed in a comfortable blazer and looked the part of a young professional.

A Barrel Of Monkeys
Asia The Cutest Primates Francois Langurs are covered by black fur all over their bodies except for white stripes that stretch from the mouth to the eyes. On top of their heads, they have a triangular peak and a white crest that looks like an eyebrow above the eyes.

Shark Jaws and School Kids
For the last few weeks, I have been working on Saturdays at the New England Aquarium in Boston, Massachusetts. My job is to educate people about the various animals that call the ocean their home and answer their questions if I can do so. However, one of my favorite things to do at work is using bio-facts at the various animal habitats to educate people about the species that call ocean and freshwater habitats home. This is because as someone who grew up learning visually, I believe people will make a difference in this world if they see things with their own eyes. We can do this by seeing live animals at a habitat at a zoo, or aquarium, and with the bio-facts, they get to see during their visit to either a zoo or an aquarium. Here, well, from my personal experience, it’s really both.

A Horse Story for Sweet Dreams
My favorite stories as a child were horse stories, because I longed ever so much to have a horse of my own and because they gave me the most wonderful dreams. This is the story of one young girl whose name is Morgan and her Appaloosa horse, Endo. Not only is it a fabulous tale, but even better? It is a true story!

The Tiniest Bunny of Ever
It has been a long time, that I have wished to write a children’s story. There are two young men in this world that know first hand the style with which I write, and they are forever an inspiration. We would lay in their bunk beds when they were little, all akimbo, and they would shout topics at me. “Green Dragon! No! Red Dragon!” “Puppies!” “Pink Balloons!”. Invariably, they would not agree, and I would be gently forced by their plaintive sweet voices, to make up TWO bedtime stories. These were some of the best days of my entire life, and I am thankful for the experiences of storytelling, and childlike wonder. So, as I am unable to decide on a topic today, I will show you how I would weave a web of bedtime story fun, and dedicate these two stories to my two favourite little dudes.

It's Dangerous To Monkey Around
Luwanda, you are one of the last of our civilization in the Free Zone. So much is on your shoulders. Blessings that you have been impregnated by Ruan. My sorrow pains me that he was struck down by the Baboon Watchers. Pity Ruan will never know the little one he fathered. All memories of him you will share with your child. He will live on through the youngin. Just as I protected you with my life and body so will you do the same for what’s yours.

The Lecture: A Reflection
Over the weekend, I conducted a “virtual” lecture on Discord where I talked about the future of modern facilities like SeaWorld, and the benefits behind close-contact interactions for animals in zoological settings. Before we got started on the subject, I introduced myself to my “virtual” audience, how I got involved with marine mammals, and what I was now up to. Then, we proceeded with our conversation: the benefits of waterworks and other close-contact interactions between zoo professionals and their animals.
