The Importance of Brushing Your Dog
"Grooming" is an instinctive behaviour that all animals have. Simply defined, it is the mechanism to keep oneself clean and free from parasites and sickness. This can range in behaviours from licking, wiping, scratching, bathing, to more human behaviours such as brushing hair, shaving, nail clipping, and skin care. For dogs, they can take care of the basics, such as licking their fur to keep it clean and wearing down their nails (claws) by being active outdoors.

Being a Dog Mom Changed My Life
After debating whether being a full-time college student, part-time worker, and a full-time social butterfly would leave enough room to be a proper "full-time dog mom," I took a leap of faith into what I felt like was actual motherhood, and ended up adopting (I recommend adopting from your local shelter) an animal who has seemed to rescue ME more than I have rescued it.

Organic Dog Food Recipes That Are Super Easy to Make
Store-bought dog food these days don't entirely taste great to many dogs. Sure, many of them include vitamins and minerals to give dogs their strength and energy, but are they as tasty as they say they are on the labels? Our dogs are the ones eating them, since we can't test them out. And how many times can you give your dog the same meal everyday? Imagine you're eating the same dinner every single day. It gets boring, right? You can even get sick of the same food. And pups shouldn't have to go through this.

Things All Dog Owners Do...
I love my dogs more than I love most humans. I love most dogs more than I even like most humans. I choose my dogs' happiness, a lot of the time, over my own pleasure, contentment, comfort, money, or sex life. I do weird things. So does my boyfriend. We thought we were the only weirdos with dogs, but the longer we have these creatures in our lives, the more crazy weird dog people we meet and the more we realise we are part of a wonderful, strange community of people that do the exact same weird things as us.

What Not to Do Around Service Dogs
I, too, was in the shoes of those who did not understand the acceptable public maneuvers for when a service dog and their handler were on the scene. We’ve all been there, making kissy noises, staring, petting… innocently enough we did not know the true rudeness, awkwardness, and inconvenience we imposed on the handler. As a current handler of a service dog, I am fully aware of the boundaries I so ignorantly crossed, as Harley’s and mine are crossed on the daily.

How Your Cat Says 'I Love You'
One of the main arguments that dog owners often have for disliking cats is that they are not affectionate. This misconception comes from the more subtle ways that cats express their love for their humans. While not jumpy and loud with their preferred methods of endearment, cats certainly show their owners plenty of love and trust. Cats may seem distant and cold to outsiders, but all cat owners know the small tokens of appreciation and signs of trust that their cat shows on a daily basis. If you know how to read the signs, you will soon learn to pick up on even the smallest signs that your cat loves you.

10 Reasons Why Pets Are Amazing
Bruce Cameron wrote, "When we adopt a dog or any pet, we know it is going to end with us having to say goodbye, but we still do it. And we do it for a very good reason: They bring so much joy and optimism and happiness. They attack every moment of every day with that attitude."

Recently, Sugar Gliders are receiving more and more attention on the internet through viral videos of owners feeding their own or showing their amazing gliding abilities.
