Schitt’s Creek Style
2020’s ever looming lockdown situation had, for me, led to many more hours of free time at home tuned into Netflix. Luckily when feeling jaded from our daily dose of briefings I stumbled across Schitt’s Creek. The riches to rags story line, eccentric yet kind-hearted characters, authentic family dynamic and witty one-liners had me hooked from the first season. There was also a sense of support and community within the wayward town the family was forced to reside in. I felt we could all benefit from nurturing these simple virtues in real life to avoid apathy and best cope with the pandemic which we are all still facing.

PPE is now officially capital-F Fashion
Naomi Campbell stepped onto a flight from LA to New York in head-to-toe personal protective equipment in March, as the spread of covid-19 was intensifying. It felt like a novel Instagrammable moment at the time rather than a foreshadowing. A legend, an icon, a woman whose very image is her livelihood, sporting a hazmat suit, face shield, goggles, mask, and gloves. But that outfit would soon become the uniform of beleaguered frontline healthcare workers worldwide if they were lucky enough not to face staggering PPE shortages.

Royal Fashion 101:
Becoming a princess might’ve been a dream of some of ours when we were children, but there are strict dress codes and fashion sacrifices that you must abide by. Our parents might’ve told us off for wearing too much makeup when we hit adolescence, but the rules for members of the British royal family have certain expectations to uphold — appearance being one of them.

7 Nigerian Celebrities Dress As American Celebrities (Photos).
Imitation they say is the best form of flattery. Yesterday, Nollywood actress Chika Ike while celebrating her birthday posted a photoset of pictures which I’ll show you really soon below onto her Instagram page. Immediately, the picture begun to get a lot of engagement and reshares because in the picture, she is seen wearing a chain-link hairstyle that is very reminiscent of the one American singer, Cardi B, wore in her now famous WAP music video.

7 Best Halloween Looks by Nigerian Celebrities.
From Mercy Aigbe to Toyin Abraham. In Nigeria, Halloween isn't really celebrated due to religious reasons, societal fear and mass superstition. However, every October 31st , the days leading up to that and some days after that, some celebrities still find the time and take the opportunity to play dress up and have fun during this very popular holiday. Because of this year and the way it has been, a lot of people didn't feel it would be appropriate to dress up. A lot of other people just didn’t have the time or energy and a huge number of others didn't care to. Just because a lot of people didn’t participate though doesn’t mean that there weren’t those few celebrities who still wanted to dress up for the holiday.
