Best Looks Inspired by Icons
Inspiration and imitation is one of the biggest parts of fashion. From being young and trying to dress like your favorite pop star to wearing the craziest thing and starting a new trend. These days it may be a meme or a retweet, but celebrities are always inspiring us on the red carpet whether they are dressing to the theme of the Met Gala or about to receive a career changing award. The red carpet is the place where we see celebrities express themselves as they smolder at the paparazzi. We see these looks and they inspire us because that's what the world of fabrics and couture does. Fashion can't help but be copied and innovated and that's why not all of the looks on the red carpet are completely original and instead paying tribute to another celebrity and their style.

Why Kim Kardashian's "Kimono" Is Rightfully Catching Major Heat. Top Story - June 2019.
Another day, another Kardashian or Jenner appropriating someone else's culture. This time, it's Kim Kardashian-West with the announcement of her new shapewear line. No, it's not the shapewear itself or the hues causing the trouble. It's the name of the shapewear line, called Kimono. Kimono, as in the long, loose robes with wide sleeves tied with a sash that were originally worn as a formal garment in Japan. Chosen because, well, Kim is part of Kimono. Duh.

Beyoncé Is Allowed to Create Stuff You Don’t Like
Beyoncé is having a week in recent news, none of which is her fault. Last week, a video from the NBA Finals showed Beyoncé visibly uncomfortable as the Golden State Warrior’s majority owner’s wife hollered over her to Beyoncé’s husband to ask him for his drink order, which sent the Beehive in to a ridiculous online bullying campaign that Beyoncé’s own publicist had to address to quell her frantic fans' online rage.

Fashion Review • Met Gala 2019
For those who may not know, The Met Gala is a star-studded event/fundraiser for the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The Met Gala, to me, is the biggest night in fashion. Trust me, you do NOT want to be placed on this worst-dressed list. (ask the Olsen twins) This year it was co-chaired by Lady Gaga, Harry Styles, Serena Williams, and Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele.

Affordable Fashion Brands Celebrities Love This Year
Hollywood has a way of pricing people out of looking pretty, doesn't it? It seems like every single celebrity featured in magazines has a multimillion dollar fashion budget—and well, they do. But, that doesn't mean that they always have to splurge on thousand-dollar jeans.
